I used to do lessons at this stable and they were amazing! You definitely get your moneys worth. Much better than any of the other stables i have done lessons at. They teach you so much in each lesson! The trainers are super experienced and make sure you have the correct technique when riding.

Felt disappointed after going to Sunborn Stables for a lesson recently. I was told that my lesson would be 1 hour and that it would cost $80, however the reality of the situation was that I received a 20 minute lunge-line lesson that I was expected to pay $80 for. The lesson was not even half of the length that it was supposed to be, and consisted of mainly walking. I understand that the first lesson is meant to gauge the experience level of the rider but it felt not quite worth the price none the less. If you are looking for children's beginner lessons perhaps this barn is a good fit but otherwise I would not recommend based on my first impression.

Granddaughter has been taking lessons here for over a year. Jenny is an excellent instructor. The stables are clean.

I rode at Sunborn with Julie for over 10 years, and I am so thankful for the years I spent there. Now I have moved away and have been unable to take lessons for a while, but thanks to Julie's teachings and foundations that she builds in her riders I was able to take my horse to the first show we'd been to in years and win our dressage class. Julie is an amazing teacher who pushes her riders to perform at their best.

Grand daughter is taking lessons here, was nice to see that, she had to do her own care of hoarse. Responsebility is a priority.

Whether you want to be a serious competitor or just ride for pleasure, Sunborn Stables is a great fit. Horses and Riders make amazing transformations under Julie's knowledgeable care, training and teaching. Aside from the great people at Sunborn my favorite aspect of facility is the beautiful pastures that allow the horses to live like horses.
