Where do I begin! Dr. Parrot and his staff and the best of the best!!!! I have three dogs, including a service dog in are training and they receive the absolute best care! Dr. Parrot and his staff are always available and treat our pets as if they are their own! I have owned pets for 45 years and Dr. Parrot's clinic is the by far the best place on earth! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Colin was very condescending and they took our 14 week old puppy into another room and gave her treats we did not approve and treatments we did not ask for. I will never go here again and I’d advise others to find someone with a little more compassion and knowledge of dog ownership. The vet does not have final say in what treatment is given, the owner does.

Unfortunately after three years I have to drop this rating from five to three. Dr Parrott is still a five star vet and I will continue to see him.
However, whoever this new vet is was terrible - I didn’t catch her name because it’s not listed on my appointment, never got a proper introduction, nor do I see her listed on the website.
I went in for a routine physical and shots. I waited significantly longer with my dog in the room, which is generally fine, until a tech came in and asked if they could do the shots first - which was fine since I understand people get backed up.
Then I got concerned when I waited even longer. Then the new vet comes in (still without my anxious dog) and says she did the physical without me (which I never agreed to, nor did she introduce herself) and starts telling me my dog is overweight (which is probably true) but is very rude in general. Then argues with me about weight history (fun fact, I keep a log of my dogs weight every month ?), then when I ask how to help her lose weight she gave me zero advice on how to do so and left.
Typically Dr Parrott is super friendly and helpful so this experience was a stain on the wonderful practice I’ve grown to love. Will still go back but only to see Dr Parrott.
Never do a physical on a dog without their owner unless you have permission, especially if you’ve never met the person nor their pet before, maybe introduce yourself to both before even touching the dog at your first appointment with them - you think this would be common sense but that woman doesn’t seem to have any.

I highly recommend Chaska Vet Hospital! Dr Parrott and his staff treat every animal and animal owner with compassion, kindness and professionalism. My dog LOVES his visits….must be those awesome treats he’s given. I would go nowhere else for my dogs needs. Thank you, Dr Parrott, Judy and all!

We wanted to change vets in Chaska as we weren't happy with the care of our old vet. After some research, we decided to give Chaska Vet Hospital a try. We could tell our 8 year old cat was having some mouth discomfort and Chaska Vet was very receptive to our concerns, easy to schedule an appointment. Dr. Parrot walked through step by step with how tooth extractions would work in plain language, they were caring and answered all my questions, and we were able to schedule the dental procedure in a timely manner. You can tell they care about both pet and pet parent. During the actual procedure we got timely updates on how our cat was doing, and when I came to pick our cat up, they provided ample amount of information for at home post-op care and what to keep an eye out for. They were very professional and their follow up's the week after were appreciated as well. I am so happy we changed vets and chose Chaska Vet!
