If I could give them 5 more stars I would. We moved to MN in May with our two senior dogs in tow. Our neighbor recommended Chaska Valley and we couldn't be happier with them. From the first visit to the last where we had to make the very difficult decision to say goodbye to our sweet Ranger, the staff have been incredibly caring, kind and compassionate. I can't say enough about how grateful we are to have found Chaska Valley.

Everyone at the clinic is so warm and welcoming. The love and compassion they have is a great comfort for a pet owner because the animals are treated and cared for as if they were their own pets. My cats are never in distress before, during or after the appointment and I am so grateful for the gentleness they are given, no matter the type of visit.

Our dog was having an allergic reaction and we called ahead, sent medical records and was hoping to get into a time slot during weekend hours. We were turned down immediately saying they were full and this is not an emergency vet. They refused to answer any basic questions. Not the vet I would ever return to.

The vets, techs, and receptionists at Chaska Valley Vet Clinic are excellent. They are caring, knowledgeable professionals who treat me and my pets with compassion and respect. They present me with options, then support me in making the best decision for me and my pets. They go the extra mile to ensure I'm satisfied my pets receive the best care possible.

Rude and expensive. The estimated cost was way off and we didn’t get everything on the list.
I tried telling them my cat is probably constipated because she’s had that issue before. The vet disagreed because she couldn’t feel anything in her abdomen and because there was a small amount of liquid stool (which some cats may experience this and the last vet couldn’t feel anything either). The X-ray also looked like the last time she was constipated lol. So we never really got an answer besides them trying to get us to do bloodwork and spend even MORE money. And to find out she has earmites which I also figured she has. But one thing I learned is you can give cats miralax. So, thank you for that information.
It’s just too bad we had to drive to the cities, glad we know not to go there again.

Dr Jody Elden is so personable and so good with my dachshund. It is a pleasure to come in. (If only my dog didn’t squirm so much.)

Always amazing and helpful. They are amazing to work with when we share a client who is boarding with us and needing a vet visit when their parents are out of town. The staff is wonderful and caring.

Unimaginable intentional animal endangerment, abuse, and murder of pets for money from suppliers. Horrible uncaring staff who killed the heart, hero and happiness of our family with no word.Chaska Valley Vet is responsible for blatant animal abuse, animal endangerment, and intentionally murdering the animals they are there to serve. The clinic has adopted the most notoriously awful vaccine provider and their well-known, highly publicized 'profits over pets' strategy that has harmed pets and their families throughout the United States and led to thousands of severe adverse reactions in dogs, including thousands of deaths that would have been avoidable if it weren’t for greedy veterinarians and clinics including Chaska Valley Vet following high incentive packages in exchange for harming or murdering your pet.Elanco’s conduct and clinics, specifically, Chaska Valley Vet, who choose to work under the same “profits over pets” strategy must be stopped. Not only has Elanco been sued for fraud regarding its product research and manufacturing, but it has also been sued for heavily incentivizing and over-selling vaccines to greedy veterinarians and veterinary clinics nationwide. There are at least nine current lawsuits concerning deaths caused by the vaccine given to our healthy, happy, loving dog on his very first visit this clinic, causing near-death hospitalization within 24 hours and after as much care as possible through reliable care services and providing 24-hour home care and love for many weeks, his death. Zero follow-up or sympathy from Chaska Valley Vet. They simply just kill animals with no second thought, no care, no phone call.Elanco also currently has problems with even higher numbers of severe adverse reactions and deaths for a number of their other vaccines and preventive cares as well as illness and death from their flea and tick collars.Still, in addition to these issues, the company has been sued for false advertising, securities fraud, and other illegal business practices.Any animal health provider knows this and should be disclosing this information to pet owners.Any animal health provider that uses these products without disclosure or discussion shows a clear, worry-free approach to animal abuse and endangerment by severely harming and murdering pets for money.Legally, a pet’s life is worth nothing, and as such, these lawsuits have done nothing to prevent this greedy, hateful, deceptive, and unimaginably destructive conduct from continuing year after year. Those are facts, whether they are presented in a court of law or not.Any care providers getting paid to use knowingly high risk and commonly adverse, and highly controversial products together with deceptive practices and omitting critical information about their intention to risk your pet's health and, ultimately, their life need to hear from everyone willing to say something.Review or send an email to Chaska Valley Veterinary Clinic telling them to stop using deceptive practices, stop omitting pertinent information about their practices and products, and stop killing the animals that they are trained and trusted to care for.It is the individual veterinarians, clinic owners, and employees who are choosing to accept personal profit in exchange for their professional ethics and any personal morals they may have had about murdering the animals they are there to serve. The company that supplies providers with incentives to endanger and kill for profit needs to stop such behavior because as we have learned from Chaska Valley Vet the amount of profit needed for them to stop providing care and start endangering and killing our pets is not very much.Again, first visit, and our 8 year old dog, healthy dog was dead. This place needs the public to respond to their clearly unethical conduct, and sheer cruelty. No one from this clinic should be allowed to work with animals, own an animal or be near animals. They are the most expensive vet we have ever been to and all they do is abuse, harm and kill. There is simply no excuse.

PROFIT OVER PETS. A STOREFRONT FILLED WITH CARELESS MURDERS AND GREED. They killed our beloved healthy 8 year old dog on his first visit offering zero follow-up or sympathy. They used a deadly vaccine on our beautiful boy and despite the vaccine company's past and current issues with deadly vaccines including the one given AND that the company is known by slogans such as "profits over pets." They over-charge for extremely sub-par service and have zero care or respect for you or your pet. They use the cheapest vaccines and charge you more than 100x cost, do not explain the risks of these vaccines even if they used high quality ones. After two weeks in the hospital and many weeks (adding up to a few months) of 24 hour home care including fluids, medications, dietary changes, and supplements, under the guidance of caring veterinarians, which was better than the few weeks they shrugged off as nothing, he was still not able to recover. This clinic and staff killed the life and love of our family with zero sympathy for something that should be considered malpractice. The entire clinic staff is heartless, knowingly deceptive and lack the basic knowledge and emotions that are necessary to care for anyone or anything. CVV stands together with Elanco in their grand vision of "PROFIT OVER PETS". A perfect example of this when we requested more subcutaneous fluids for our dog, they wouldn't approve the order through Chewy at 6.99 a bag but would gladly give us the same bags for 99.00 each. They killed our dog, they knew he was dying, and they still tried to swindle us and decided it was fine to just let our dog die in pain and be done. We kept his levels the same for months and when he worsened, he passed with dignity and without suffering - at a very high emotional cost and well before his time. Everyone associated with the clinic should loose their legal standing to practice, to own or be around animals, and loose every asset they have professionally and personally gained through the maltreatment of all of the animals they have murdered for money.

We've had a wonderful experience here over the past several years. Both of our dogs received compassionate care from each vet that we've seen here. The vet techs and veterinarians are extremely kind and knowledgeable. They helped us through a wide variety of health issues with our first dog, from allergies to GI issues and more, providing us with great care and excellent referrals, where appropriate. Similarly, they've provided excellent care for our second dog, from wellness exams to intervention for illnesses. They helped her through canine influenza and aspiration pneumonia, intervening quickly and early and helping her recover in a short period of time. She loves seeing her friends at the front desk and her vet tech and vet friends when we bring in! We will be bringing our new puppy here in January and are looking forward to continuing to receive top notch care. We'd highly recommend this practice.
