associate was short with me when he misunderstood my question, and then i realized he also misunderstood the law he was referring to. i would call in first to see who's working/if they're worth working with. they also charged more for a state-regulated service than every other place i've been to.

I've used them now for 3 different vehicles and have always been happy with the service I've gotten. What needs to be done is explained and gone over with you. In one instance I wanted different tires than recommended and they quickly got pricing for me. They are friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend them.

Josiah, Service Advisor at Victory Auto Service in Chanhassen, is my trusted advisor to keep my 2010 Volvo in perfect condition!
He takes the time to listen to my concerns and provide expert advice on the necessary repairs at a reasonable price.
Excellent work on the car, attentive customer service and a very clean and pleasant reception area, with free coffee, beverages and ... candy!?
I couldn't be more pleased with Josiah and all the team at Victory Auto Service - Chanhassen!

I brought my VW in for an oil change and felt very welcomed. Mike and Josiah were extremely nice and professional. My car was finished quickly and I didn't feel pressured to buy anything else, they just let me know what they found. I will be coming back for all my repairs and highly recommend them to anyone and everyone

Professional service, knowledgeable staff. Brought my Highlander in for a recurring issue that dealer couldn't fix. Victory's seasoned techs found it - stuck canister purge solenoid. Completed repair as promised. And Victory guarantees their work, so I can always bring our vehicles in with confidence that issues are taken care of.

I really can't reccomend this place enough. Let's start with Josiah. Professional is the only way I can describe my interactions. Friendly and always efficient at diagnosing issues. I have had troubles in the past trying to keep my 2014 Corolla running but the "peace of mind" service really lives up to it's name. Even a junker like mine is still road worthy. It's not my old T-Bird, but boy does it drive just as smooth. Hats off to the techs! Quick and talented, I never feel like I wait longer than is needed for work to be done. Thank you for keeping "Murphy" healthy, haha.

Overtorqued and Overpriced.
Same Labor Rates as Dealership at about $200 per Hour with Hit and Miss Repairs. NOT Happy.
Went in for a full brake job on a 2010 Prius. I supplied pads and rotors for all 4 axles. Was informed that, in addition, both rear calipers needed replacement. Total bill was estimated at about $1800. I swallowed hard and said OK. Went in to pick up vehicle next day.
Lug Nuts were over torqued on all 4 wheels forcing me to return vehicle.
Promised all was good.
One week later, replaced rear brake caliper was leaking and turning on multiple dash lights.
Asked for a price reduction from their $1100 labor bill (for 5 hours work). I was told "You agreed to it."
How about I agree to never let you touch my families' vehicles again and inform the public of your sloppy and overpriced service?!
I requested to take my vehicle to an alternate shop of my choice to complete repairs at Victory's expense. Victory insisted that I return it to them. Questions about how my vehicle was repaired went unanswered / ignored.
Two separate inquires from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and Minnesota State Attorney General's office could not get them to admit their sloppy work.
My position is that Victory Auto has failed to demonstrate a level of competency from their two prior errors that I can in good faith trust them
to complete the repairs completely and safely. Hence my request for reimbursement and to take my vehicle to an alternate garage of my choice.
You may think that I'm a whiny customer who is never satisfied. I don't believe that's true. I had an ongoing relationship with another garage that lasted over 30 years. That garage owner has since retired. In those 30 years, I NEVER had a single issue with a vehicle's repair quality.
Since visiting Victory, I am two for two on Poor / Subpar service. First visit, they misdiagnosed an AC issue. I eventually solved it myself.
Second and more serious visit, I am left with a vehicle that I have had to have another shop correct Victory's errors for an additional $400 prior to it being road worthy.
I'm 64 years old. Been wrenching and working on cars since I was 13. I've never seen a more messed up Shop. AVOID!
Update (5/2/24) Notice the Owner has time to respond to "Positive" reviews but has no response to mine.
