The USPS Chanhassen Carrier Annex is not a full retail post office. It is a location where customers can drop off pre-paid packages and pick up items that could not be delivered. The staff works very hard, with carriers often working extensive hours, especially during the winter and Christmas season. While some past customer experiences have been frustrating and difficult, there are also reports of great customer service. Staff members have been described as empathic, super polite, and amazing, going far to find solutions and help with concerns. The team deals with impossible situations, including being short-staffed, and does its best with little appreciation. Customers are asked to be patient and to help by keeping their mailboxes clear and accessible in winter.

Just a tip for everyone - This is not a normal retail post office (notice the "annex" in the name). You can drop off a package here that already has postage and you can pick up packages that were unable to be delivered but otherwise they do not have mailing services here.

Fairly helpful - friendlier staff than most USPS offices
