He went the first time at eight years old for two weeks and it quickly became one of his favorite places in the world. Six years later he goes for two months (full session). He has learned many life skills like independence, leadership and personal responsibility. The camp is well run with the support of an amazing staff. The older campers go on increasingly challenging canoe trips into Canada that have become the highlight of my son's experience. I can't recommend Chippewa highly enough.”
