My wife and I stayed here while seeing Clint Black at the Black Bear Casino. The house is immaculate. The house has a lot of history of its own. The breakfast was fabulous. Great bacon. Home cooked bread and jelly. Excellent Frittatas .
Glenn and Emily take great pride in providing a 1st class experience. It was a joy to visit with them over breakfast.

Dear Glenn and Emily -Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us. We really enjoyed our 1 night stay to break up driving as we made our way to Lutsen. Breakfast was exquisite. It was our first B&B experience dining with other guests and we enjoyed the conversation. We are already planning on returning. Give Suki a pet for me!Emily and Kyle Becker

My family & I had such a warm & inviting stay at the Oldenburg House. Glenn & Emily were such welcoming hosts. They added so many extra 'special touches' that were just above & beyond anything we've experienced before. You can feel the Love everywhere! Highly recommend!

Gorgeous bed and breakfast, with amazing hosts! Emily and Glenn were both a pleasure to get to know, and their dog Suki is the cutest thing alive. Emily was great with communicating their plans throughout the day, and both of them are amazing chefs; the breakfasts were all so unique and tasty! As for the rooms themselves, all of the rooms are nicely updated, clean, and each offer their own uniqueness. Highly recommend the Jay Cooke suite if you plan on staying for more than a few nights, like we did; it has a generous sized bathroom complete with washer and dryer, which Emily is more than happy to let you use if needed.Be aware that it is a little bit of a drive to downtown Duluth, if that is why you are visiting. But the drive itself is so gorgeous, especially if you take highway 210 through Jay Cooke State Park, that it is well worth it. Overall, if you are the bed and breakfast type, I would highly recommend staying here on your next trip to the North Shore!

It could not have been better. Really enjoyed our stay. Spent a couple of hours at the park. Their yard is like a park. The Swedish pancakes that Glenn whipped up were really good. Really enjoyed talking music with them. Will be back for their music festival. Glenn and Emily have a super unique property.

Emily was a fantastic host! She was great with communication and is a very talented and well rounded home chef! She curated a delicious vegan breakfast for us to meet our dietary needs! The Oldenburg was very clean, spacious, quiet, and the grounds are beautiful! We would definitely stay there again!

I'm a bit biased as I know the couple that owns this gorgeous place but I do love it. The owners are the loveliest people you could ever meet and their space is so relaxing. You're right on the way into Jay Cooke State Park and also the Munger Trail. Highly recommend!! ♡♡
