Best customer service a US Bank branch south of the river has to offer. The branch manager whom I’ve had occasion to work with on multiple occasions for varying reasons is always able to make things happen. Is branches always a pleasure to do business with the people are wonderful to work with. Unfortunately branches in Lakeville are not as customer friendly. But this branch exceeds expectations of customer service and doing right by its customers.

I am extremely happy with this location. 1 1/2 years ago the business I was with switched my type of pay from employee to contracted employee. I was mailed my checks at that point paid weekly. I was allowed to deposit my first 3 checks at the other bank without a problem. Upon the last check of the month I was told I could not deposit it, I had to cash it out at the bank it was drawn on. I went to the Eagan branch of US bank. They had a fairly new to management guy that told me since it was made out to me as a business my manager would have to rewrite it. I was recommended to go to this location & speak with any of the employees there. I am so thankful. They took the time to investigate & help me get a new bank account open that allowed me to deposit my checks, as well as, informing me why the other bank would not take the check. Thank you Nathan ... I love US bank at Bylery's Lunds in Burnsville.

If a bank that can’t get their hours straight, can they really handle your money?!

A few months back, on a Sunday, I wanted to purchase a high dollar item from an acquaintance, but we found no payment sources we both shared. I bank at US Bank, she at a credit union, so we looked for the closest open US Bank where we could meet. As a first timer, it was difficult for me to find, unless already knowing it was tucked inside the left side of vestibule of the grocery store. The gentleman assisting me was courteous, and we quickly determined that the most appropriate would be cashiers check, and within a few minutes, it was in her hand.

Bad customer service. She would not cash a check over 500 for a non customer even though the person writing the check is a customer . Don't waste your time at this branch just a heads up .

**THIS IS THE IN-STORE BYERLY'S US BANK LOCATION** I was just in to the US Bank branch at Byerly's in Burnsville, MN. I went in with a non-US Bank customer who was coming in to cash a check drafted on US Bank. The gentleman teller went through the process to cash it, had it signed, took a fingerprint on the check and then as he began to count the cash out to the non-US Bank customer, he stopped and informed the customer that suddenly there was a fee to cash the check at US Bank drawn on US Bank. He then said "oh, you didn't know?" to the person - in a condescending fashion. Needless to say, of course the person didn't know there was a fee because the teller neglected to tell him. I spoke up and stated that I found it strange that there would be a fee for a check draft on a US Bank account AT US Bank. The teller said "every bank charges non-customers to cash a check drawn on the bank when cashing them". I replied that was not the case to which the teller said "well which one?" So I replied that BMO Harris Bank did not charge non-account holders on checks drawn on BMO Harris Bank. His response was "well, no big banks". I replied to him that Wells Fargo does not do this. I expressed concern to him that if I am to write someone a check from US Bank that the bank would either be un-willing or un-able to cash it without a fee. He said it was because cashing checks drawn on US Bank at US Bank was risky. I was floored! I asked him if he meant that the person cashing the check was possibly a criminal and that was why it was risky or if it was because US Bank might not have the money to cover the check making it risky. He told me "I don't understand your thinking". The entire time, he was snide and rude to me - making me feel not at all like a valued customer of 20 plus years. I ended up signing off on the check so that it could promptly be cashed as a second party check (apparently that is no longer "risky"). Needless to say, this experience has made me VERY skeptical about using US Bank for my banking needs. The bank charges clients for a checking account, collects interest on the funds I deposit when they loan it out and then tries to charge the person I issue the check to if they would like to tender the check at US Bank. This goes FAR past double dipping and is not only TERRIBLE customer procedure but possibly predatory. Add to that the unprofessional and degrading demeanor of the teller in the Byerly's Burnsville, MN US Bank branch and I am made to feel VERY unwelcome and VERY unwanted as a US Bank customer for either my personal accounts or my business accounts.
