I was born and raised in River Hills and I like visiting the old neighborhood. I bring my f150 up to Dave Barnes and his staff and they always do a great job at a honest price. It's always nice to support the family owned businesses??

Hands down the best gas station I’ve ever been to thanks to Henry! This wonderful and smiley human changed not only my day, week, month, but my life! He is an amazing person and should be considered a gem ? at this store! We had a great conversation this AM and I’ve never been to this store before but Henry makes me want to come back even though this store isn’t on my way or a store I have rewards with but the reward I just received from Henry by him blessing me with his presence is worth 1000X the rewards I get from other places! Thank you!! Henry! You’re an amazing human and you deserve the whole world of thanks!

At his is a great place to spend tour money. Multi generational owned business. They alway have GOOD normal coffee. I've had some repairs done well here and they help with questions from time to time. The new pumps make things faster. Oh, their air hose almost always works.

Living in Minnesota, our tire pressure can get low in extreme cold weather. Although I had a full gas tank already, I was close to a Shell station when my tires pressure light came on. I started to fill all tires as I wasn't sure which one was low. Dave the owner came right out with a pressure gauge and checked all 4 tires. He filled them to the correct pressure (I would have just guessed) and even replaced a missing cap! All this with a smile even though I did not buy anything there. Thank you Dave!

Watch out for this place, needed tire repaired, leak, asked me if I wanted patch or plug, said patch, second time taking it in there, same problem, decided to buy new tire at different station, $120 later didn't need new tire, looked like a bunch of gummy worms inside old tire, wasn't even patched, old tire still good

I went to Shell gas station to get a tire plugged. I asked the attendant how much it was he said 20.00, I said ok, a little while later he said that I had two bad lugs that needed replaced I asked him how much he said 4.50 a piece, I said ok, when the cashier rung me up instead of paying 29.00 and some change, I was charged 49.25, I said where did the extra charges come from, he said oh we had to reshape the rim so the air wouldn't leak out. I was so upset because all they had to do was tell me in the beginning about ALL the charges so I could know what to expect. I was told by several men after the fact that you cannot reshape a rim. They got me this time but I will never come here again. Ladies do not go to this gas station. Wherever you go take someone with you who is knowledgeable about tires because this season right here, it's easy money for them, you will get taken advantage of because when you don't know you don't know and you are relying on their honesty but I won't be coming back nor will I recommend anyone to go there.

I've been going there for 20 years and have made numerous referrals. I trust them implicitly and always found them to be fair and accommodating. The only place I've ever gone where they told me NOT to do something because it was not yet necessary or nothing to worry about. I keep my cars to at least 150,000 miles.

Why would an employee ask (within a customer's hearing) if that customer can afford a repair ? Since it was a Caucasian employee talking about a black customer, some would assume this was a racist comment. I can only hope that the employee was just an idiot ?
