Perrier is the only place I go now. Staff is always very friendly and willing to help or provide recommendations. The owner, John, is a top notch guy and is very knowledgeable. Great selections, great prices, great service. What more can you ask for.

THIS IS A REVIEW WORTH READING BECAUSE YOU MAY HAVE BEEN THE VICTOM OF A BIG RIP OFF SCAM! DON'T TRUST PERRIER WINES AND LIQUORS, REGARDLESS OF THE LOCATION. Well, I guess there are always going to be retailers who are willing to rip off customers in the most under handed way possible because as business people, they lack the morals, values, and ethics of upstanding and reputable businesses as well as qualities that most mature adults have. John and Dave, owners of Perrier Wines and Liquors (John owns/manages the stores in Burnsville and Bloomington, and Dave owns/manages the store in St. Paul, maybe other stores??). I was a regular customer of the Burnsville store and then I discovered that John was overcharging me. On my bank statements, there were literally double charges that showed up on the days that I made one purchase at Perrier Wines and Liquors. Sometimes the amount was the same as the original charge, and sometimes it was more. This went on for many, many months and totaled hundreds of dollars. I talked to John about my concerns many, many, many times and every time, he blamed it on my bank. He also always seemed very nervous. At first he blamed it on Wells Fargo, assuming that was the place I banked with but once he learned that my bank is US Bank, then he suddenly added US Bank into the mix of banks who purportedly overcharge customers. WTH?? It was all sooo odd, it felt illegal from the get go, and it also felt as though it was all part of a big scam. Please know that every time I talked to John about it, he appeared very anxious and nervous - can you say guilty?? I also talked to Dave, and although he was a bit more assertive then John, he was still a j*** about the situation, claiming that they have proof that they didn't overcharge me. So when I talked to John about the "proof", it was bogus and meant nothing, which again prompted me to express my concerns about the over charges, and all John could suggest is for me to contact the attorney general's office to report my bank making the over charges despite me telling him multiple times that it's never happened with any other retailer. Like, whatttt?? Please be very careful when you purchase anything from Perrier Wines and Liquors, and above all else, check your bank statements regularly for double or over charges from Perrier Wines and Liquors. They're crooks who are getting away with bilking a lot of money from a lot of people. Who knows, you just might be one of them..

Rude cashier. I was scolded for making a small purchase with my debit card. Won't be going back there anytime again. Very unprofessional to talk down to a customer. If making small purchases with a card is a reasonable thing to respond rudely, then change your policy. Otherwise, train your employees to not make such comments.

I have been going to Perrier Liquors for a number of years. What make this place so special is that when at the store you get attention. You don’t get lost like in a “Big Box” store. The owner, John Perrier, is always there to help you find something. The best thing about John is that even if you stop in once in a while and he recognizes you he’ll let you know what is available with his allocated liquor. 5 STARS!

Another great trip as usual. As everyone is always out for the special bourbons, and, as it should be, the rare bottles are allocated to regular and local customers. I am always happy with the selections that are recommended by the owner and staff that are similar in nose, taste and finish to the rare bottles as well as the unique bottles. I have found it to be much more enjoyable to be bringing a bottle to share that others have not tried or in some cases heard of. All recommendations for whiskey have been great for my tastes.

While not a very big store compared to other liquor stores, the customer service makes up for it. The owner, John, is there almost every day and has a wealth of knowledge on his products. He has great wine recommendations and is always a pleasure to talk to.

I bought a 12 pack of dented cans that exploded when I opened them all. I was surprised to find the center cans were also dented. I called the store 10 minutes after I bought it and said all the cans were dented but the woman said there was nothing she could do because they didn’t know if they were really like that already or not. They called me a liar and they lost a regular who went there two or three times a week buying beer and whiskey.
