We had a Superloader3 with a stuck tape. Found Midwest, contacted them through their contact form and within an hour we had an RMA from them and we shipped it out that day. 3 days later the drive was shipped back to us good as new! Communication was excellent and very timely. I highly recommend them!

In attempting to get multiple units back in service I worked with MidWest Technical. They were quite responsive and unbelievably patient with my lack of mechanical knowledge.In my opinion they went well above and beyond!

This is a quality business and the staff have been extremely helpful to me. I'm from Australia and needed help with refurbishing a part in the US. They gave me prompt advice and were very helpful in vectoring me to another company to do the work. Moreover they procured another part for me at the same time. I cannot commend them highly enough.

I have work with MidWest Technical Sales Inc. to restore an old data set off a 9 track media. MidWest Technical Sales Inc has done an amazing job. Staff were amazing, professional, and quite helpful during the process. The owner Dan Szewczyk is a very knowledgeable guy and he provided step by step instructions and guidance. WOW! Genuine help like this is very rare to come by now a days. I had very specific issues with one of my tape drive machines that did not have anything to do with the actual tape drive itself. Dan Szewczyk asked all the right questions to understand all of the issues and once he got all of the information he needed he was able to give me great advice and mapped out a game plan to get my machine working once again.This was a very critical machine for my company and without the help of Dan I would have been in very hot water. Thank you again for all of your time and help!

Without a doubt, the premiere place to have repairs done for tape drives of any type. Personnel was very responsive and followed up as necessary with the manufacturer to help resolve my issues as well as make them aware of theirs. Learned a thing or two as well. Hard to find people and businesses that go that extra mile anymore.

I am a retired programmer who was in charge of two critical systems in New York City. I know the value and importance of quality and reliable backups. When I retired, I created a fairly sophisticated LAN with two Nas's on different network segments, as well as three different wireless networks to keep critical information as protected as I could. Each of the Nas's partially failed over time, but each time I was able to completely restore information from the prior day. After many years, my tape drive failed, and Midwest was able to supply a tape drive capable of re-using the prior tapes, while at the same time allowing the use of a higher density tape. When I confronted some problems, Midwest was available to offer assistance and guidance. I cannot praise them highly enough. They are professional, competent, and available.

Midwest repaired a LTO tape drive for my company. But the delivery folks damaged it in return shipping, despite very good packaging. I really expected to have a hard time dealing with a freight claim and finger pointing (past experiences with other companies). But MidWest jumped right in and took the bull by the horns. In no time I had not a refurb, but my original repaired drive! Not to mention the original service was fast, fairly priced and professionally done. Thanks to Kathy at MidWest.

The technical team at MidWest Tech is top notch. I had a tape drive in an autoloader that was failing, and the vendor I bought it from had no option for replacing or repairing the drive. The only option the offered was to buy a whole new autoloader, or buy an external drive with no library. I found MidWest Tech on the Internet, and they were extremely helpful. They had posted videos already about how to tear down my autoloader to get the drive out. They responded quickly to all of my e-mails, and offered advice on various aspects of how to get the most out of the drive and tapes. I sent them the drive, and a little over a week later, I had a drive that was running beautifully. It was only transferring 50MB/s before showing signs of failure. Now it has a 135MB/s transfer rate. I'm THRILLED. I really appreciate the sales and technical folks for their professionalism and technical expertise.
