UDATED REVIEW AGAIN!It has been 59 days, yes, 59 days, since I was promised to have the office manager closely monitor my file. I was suppose to have injections and PT. I have yet to hear anything from them. What a complete waste of the last 10 months of my life. I did everything they told me to do. I ran around and got another MRI, oh now get another xray, oh now we need CT scan, oh and the night before my surgery they said I needed to go to my local Dr. ( 1 hour away. As I was out of town) and get all my records and bring them with or I can't have the surgery. And don't forget me waiting 1-2 hours EVERY appointment to see the Dr. Yes, my last visit in Burnsville I waited 2 hours for them while they all went to lunch and forgot about me. I have a video of me stepping outside the room and it is completely dark and not a soul in sight. Unbelievable. Now what do I do? Start over with a new Dr I guess. I have had no relief from my pain after my SI Joint Fusion surgery. I cannot explain my frustration with the Alexandria office and the Burnsville office. Just so upsetting.UPDATED REVIEW.....After I posted my review I had an appointment with Dr. Abassi. He apologized for everything and he personally took care of the problems. He called me that evening and apologized once again and set up more appointments to make sure I am taking care of. Thank you Dr. Abassi for understanding the problems and actually doing something about it.I don't know where to start. I was sent to Alexandria to have injections with Dr Aya. Every appointment, consultation, and injectionsI waited 1-2 hours. Every single time. I waited while she left the room to talk to another patient. I waited while she left the room to find availability in the Burnsville office for my surgery dates. Turns out she was in the other room talking to another patient. I spent the next 2 months running around for them doing another MRI, CT Scan, and xrays. The night before my surgery, they called and said they need me to run to my Dr office and get all my results. I said they are closing soon and I'm 2 hours away. They said they cannot do the surgery unless they have this. I couldn't understand why their computers can't communicate with theirs. Half hour later they magically could and I was OK for surgery. Every time u saw their number on caller ID my heart just sank. What else? I finally got to Burnsville for my surgery with Dr. Abassi. Everything went good. 4 weeks later they said I could do full weight and no walker after my SIJoint Fusion surgery. I was in significant pain and went back to Alexandria and talked with Dr Aya. She said who told you no walker and full weight. I said Dr. Abassi office. She pulls out her phone and said she was texting them and telling them it was 6 weeks not 4. I was put on restrictions for 2 more weeks. Ended up back in Burnsville because I did not want to go to Alexandria because of how late they always were. So I drove 3 hours instead of 2 and saw Alyssa Harberer. My appointment was at 11am. At 1pm I took a video of the office. Not a soul in sight and not 1 light on! Everybody at lunch????? Finally a gal said "Oh have you seen your doctor yet?" I said no. My appointment was 2 hours ago. Alyssa shows up and said screws are all in place. What do I want done. I said figure out the pain. I am still numb and tingly. No change since surgery. She said she could make an appointment with the surgeon. I said no Thank you and left. I cannot believe they forgot me in the room for 2 hours!!! This wonderful amazing Dr and his offices are this disorganized in both locations??? Wow! All I can say is Wow.

I had the ollif in l4 l5. My whole experience was really good. The night before i stayed in the hotel above the surg center. It was great. I was very pleased with all the nurses and Dr. abassis assistant. They worked all together. They were in unity. They loved their job, I could tell. I woke up from surgery in pain. they did a great job making me comfortable. I stayed in the concierge above the surg center. My wife took great care of me. I went home the next day

Was supposed to have an appointment here, multiple messages back and fourth, phone calls making sure we had all the paper work filled out and signed everything. Less than 24hrs before my appointment, they call to tell us that it would be all out of pocket for the visit and any further surgery. Communication sucks.

Do not recommended! Surgery was way more invasive then told before the surgery. Very hard to get any medication refilled. They canceled after surgery appointments, seems like they just want your money and kick you out the door. Day of the surgery was horrible, waited 3 hours for the appointment then trys to push you out afterwards. Minor surgery I guess means 40 staple. Still having same pain as before surgery DON'T GO HERE

I should have gone with my gut feeling after my first appointment. I was seen at the Burnsville location in early Dec '22 and was waiting in the exam room for over 1 hr past my scheduled time. I gave them the benefit of the doubt since they are specialists. Second appointment was for a myelogram and that too was delayed approximately 45 minutes. When the nurse came in to explain the procedure, she had it written down for a lumber myelogram, not cervical as I needed. After 15 minutes, came back in and said the orders were wrong and changed it. My last appointment at the end of March was to go over what surgical procedure I would need to correct my neuropathy and pain issues for my hand and arm and was told I would need a 2 layer ADCF. I had 2 previous ADCF procedures on 2 different levels and knew what to expect. After 3 months of them going back and forth with my insurance trying to get the procedure pre-auth'ed (and I also spent over 15 hrs on the phone with my insurance and having daily migraines and an incredible amount of pain), I was told that I was being put on the back burner because my insurance was "being too difficult". I finally went to a pain dr to help, and he advised me to get a second opinion and an MRI because he believed the ACDF being recommended would not elevate my issues. My insurance being a pain was a blessing in disguise!!! The 2nd surgeon reviewed the myelogram and MRI and said I would need a more extensive procedure to correct my concerns. If I would have done what Inspired Spine was recommending, I would have had little-to no relief. Now, I am currently 6 weeks post-op from the second surgeon with no issues except for some lingering surgical pain!!! I would steer clear of this practice and wish I would have listened to my gut and not retuned after my first visit.

This office has an over all lack of communication and disconnect between the office & surgeons. Started the process in January, with physical therapy & an MRI. Dr Koch called commenting that if we’re not interested is going through Inspired Spine let them know. (What?) We’ve doing everything they assigned. We had to call an make an appointment to follow up, scheduled in April they didn’t bother reviewing the MRI until we arrived. It was obvious a discectomy was necessary. Dr Koch ordered a back brace with zero discussion. Scheduled a consultation with a surgeon for 5/1, sounded promising and the way to go, but as we had a second opinion scheduled we could not move forward. Scheduled the review & sign off with the surgeon for 5/15, they called cancelled the morning of, next available was 6/12. They tried to cancel again a few days before, we said hold on we’ve already been waiting 30 days. The front desk says we can sign with a different surgeon. Arrive on 6/12 and they want $4500 for the brace that was not discussed and we didn’t have the surgery appointment promised as you have to sign with the surgeon doing the procedure. What now? Start all over again with a different clinic or try to call the surgeon direct per the front office that has given inaccurate information every time. 5 visits 8 calls and 6 months & we have NOTHING to show for it. Disrespectful of our time 100% Disappointed. Would NOT recommend to anyone.

I came to Inspired Spine- Dr. Abbasi- for a second opinion. I immediately felt more comfortable at this office because of the ladies at the front desk. They were so sweet and helpful. Dr. Abbasi thoroughly explained my condition and the reasons I was not getting any relief. After a few consultations, I decided on the OLLIF procedure for my L4/L5 disc. I was very comfortable at the start of the procedure as I knew I was in good hands. Surgery went great and I was up and walking within an hour. For my follow-ups I was transferred to Dr. Koch. Dr. Koch is an incredible doctor. He has explained my recovery in terms that are understandable. He walked through my scans and even created diagrams for me to follow along. I have never felt so comfortable and happy with my experience with any other doctor/clinic as I have at Inspired Spine. I would 100% recommend Inspired Spine for any back issues you may be having.

It has been nearly 4 months since I stepped into Dr. Koch’s care, and in these 4 months, I’ve received nothing short of positive, comprehensive treatment. Dr. Koch was able to pinpoint my issues even when I knew little to nothing about the verbiage to describe my pain. I have a fear of spinal injury or anything that may compromise my mobility, I was already scared and sceptical but he managed to quell my worried in the first visit. Apart from spinal related issues, he has been instrumental to get me to do check up on other issues that may be masking as back pain. He’s engaging, encouraging and therapeutic to be around. His attendants are amazing too and it’s awesome to be around the harmonious atmosphere he creates with his team, at such a vulnerable time for us as patients. He is wholistic in his approach to patient care. I have been able to function, care for myself and understand my body and spinal health more than ever. I cannot find enough words to express my gratitude. Thank you, Dr. Koch and Inspired Spine is lucky to have you.

Very professional group. I am currently going through back issues and after researching countless hours for the right Neurosurgeon to perform what I need (Microdiscectomy) I found Inspired Spine. I decided to go with them after the reviews I've seen on youtube, facebook, tik tok etc... I've decided to check them out and go with them. So far the experience has been exceptional. I'll jump back on for another review after my upcoming surgery.5 Months post surgery, I feel like a completely new person. Dr. Abbasi will change your life. Don't live with debilitating back or neck pain. Call and make the appointment to get checked out.

I absolutely love inspired spine! I came here seeking help for my lower back pain and Dr. Koch has been nothing but a miracle worker. I have been doing treatments for 3 weeks and I already have felt significant improvement. I highly recommend for all spine and neck issues.

Dr Abassi and his team did a fantastic job on my OLLIFF back fusion it had its ups and downs but almost 7 months post op I can say I am happy it was done and I am almost pain free. I am now seeing Dr Koch for my neck and his conservative approach to my neck is welcomed after just having surgery. I am getting trigger point injections and he made sure to answer all my questions. Fantastic bed side manner and I do not feel like I am ever am being rushed. Front desk and support staff are great, very professional always able to make appointments and get through on the phone and do not have to wait months to just to get inI would also like to add that I feel the front desk staff especially the main lady who is slightly new there is amazing! Having worked in registration and scheduling myself for many years it is a huge plus to a business when they have someone who takes the time from the front end to make your experience great, she always is friendly, personable, talks about the day and weather and makes me feel like a person/patient and not just a number. Customer service reps like her are a dime a dozen and you are lucky to have someone like her. As well as the scribes that help I never have felt like they rush me or the appointments, I had down feel inspired spine is top notch and you will not be disappointed I recommend for all your spinal needs ! We had nothing but the best experiences with inspired spine! My husband recently had surgery on his neck, we went today for follow up appointment and Dr Koch and he made us feel very comfortable and answered any questions or concerns we have had!

The clinic is very clean and comfortable. The physicians ask a lot of thorough questions to come up with a specialized plan that targets your unique condition. I felt that my concerns and questions were addressed along the way. If you experience chronic pain and want a specialized approach I would recommend visiting this clinic.

I saw Dr Koch in December 2022.I have to get a series of shots and so I was very nervous going in to this clinic for the first time. But he was very friendly, understanding and compassionate. Having had many shots in my back over the years (I've had 8 back surgeries and now have titanium rods in my back), I've seen many doctors. He was very gentle and he numbed my problem area before giving me the actual shot. I have several more shots to get in this series before having surgery again, and I'm no longer nervous. I wish I'd come in to see him before!
