*edit; Never received any communication from the store or company regarding the order. It never came and I had to cancel it. Waited a whole month of a status of 'shipped' before I gave up and asked for my money back, which was also a pain to do.So incredibly disappointed with this company. I ordered an item to ship to store on 11/26. It was guaranteed to be there between 12/3-12/10. Well, it's Christmas Eve, and my item has been 'in transit' for 3 weeks now according to their website. No one from the company can give me any idea of when my order will actually arrive.Maybe it'll arrive for Valentine's day? ?

Ordered an item and it said that it would be ready for pickup between the 4th and the 7th of January was ordered in December . I live 40 miles from the store would have been quicker if they would have shipped it to me.

buyer beware! horrible customer service. ordered something on dec 4th. email confirmation said i would receive the item on dec 10th - 12th. never received the order. called on dec 19th. inquired about my order. was told it’s seasonal and i was never getting it. also told they got a shipment of the item i wanted on dec 14th but sold them all. i told the woman to cancel my order. i never received a email w the order cancellation. all around terrible terrible customer service! ended up ordering the same item from home depot. it was cheaper and arrived in 2 days!

Buyer Beware. I ordered this Snow Blade in October. I asked when it would arrive and was told 5-7 business days. It did not arrive. I texted customer care and was told that the new arrival date was November 17th. It did not arrive. I contacted customer care again. I was told that it was not their responsibility to update customers on delivery as they subcontract through a delivery service. I was told that the new arrival date was November 24th. Yes, you guessed it correctly, it did not arrive. But this time we were told an attempt was make to deliver the snow blade. That was a lie as we were home all day and no one called/texted/ or showed up. On November 27th, without the promised communication from the shipping company, a semi truck just drove up our driveway.

Bought a $7000 wood splitter from northern tool. First I Was given wrong tracking info. Item shows up super late. Item is damaged the intake to the motor had a hole in it and it had a few hydraulic leaks as well as nuts and bolts falling outta it as the nuts weren’t tight. I reach out to customer service about it. They asked what I wanted to do I said just pay for the parts and labor it was gonna need from the local Honda shop where I ordered them. They said we don’t pay for labor etc !! I said no worries you just lost a customer !! Spend 7k to be nickeled and dimed on parts and labor !! If you buy from them and it’s damaged send back let them eat the shipping which for the splitter was like $700 !! Absolute joke !! Never again will I buy anything from northern tool !!

Horrible customer service, selling products on sale that are halfway across the country free delivery is when it gets there or pay to have it shipped then its no longer a sale. See the scam. Then you try to cancel they won't let you. Threaten to get your bank involved money mysterious goes back into your account.

Horrible Customer Service. Canceled an order with no communications at all. I had a $10 gift card from a previous purchase and they canceled that with my order. I called and they said they would send another gift card in 24 to 48 hours. NEVER DID! Shipping the slowest in the nation. Nobody seems to want to do their jobs that work there. NEVER AGAIN. THEY USED TO BE A GOOD BUSINESS!

I'm super disappointed. I made an order on a promotional item and they cancelled the order. They wouldn't return my email and made me call to get answers. I used to order items for my business, but will now find other sources. All you have in this world is your word.

Horrible place of business, does not honor purchase orders when they make a mistake. I placed an order 10 days ago, have not received an update, on their website the order status shows online as "Received".I decide to call customer support and it turns out my order was involuntarily canceled without notification due to stock issues. I never received any email or correspondence, and no change in status on their webpage. Greatly dissatisfied with this company, as I've always had a high regard for them.Never going to purchase anything from here again, I'm sure it doesn't matter. They've got plenty of other customers to screw over, as I'm sure they have.I relied on receiving this order within a certain time frame, and now it creates an issue for me that I have to resolve. Wouldve been nice if the customer service representative offered some form of reconciliation, atleast a reorder. But no, essentially i was told to kick rocks.

They advertised a deal to buy a battery and receive ratchet free and then they didn't honor the deal. They cancelled the order and claimed it was an "error".... nothing but false advertising and I will never do business with them again.

Apparently this company cannot properly list items for sale on their website properly. My first and only order was automatically cancelled because of their error.

Beware of promotions ran by Northern Tool. I ordered a Milwaukee M12 battery that had a promotion of getting the bare tool free with purchase. They charged and confirmed my order just to send me a cancellation later on saying the promotion was posted in “error”. And to add to the issue, I go back to their website to see the tool marked up to $110 over standard pricing. I’ll go elsewhere and save $110… what a joke.
