Moved 12/1/2023. International move.
The mover showed up like they didn't want to work.
I gave the mover option to park next to my door. They decided to park on the other side of the building and work as slowly as possible.
*they later moved closer to load up the bigger items
They unpacked and repackaged 3 of my boxes and put them in bigger boxes (to only charge me later for supplies)
Instead of taking my big furniture as is, they boxed everything (again, charging me for supplies used)
Advice:
1) Don't let them open and rebox your item
2) Don't let them box anything without your permission.

My husband and I hired Action Moving Services to help us move all our household furniture from Lino Lakes MN to our new home in Hayward WI. We could not be more pleased with our overall experience working with Action Moving. From making our initial call and talking to Eric about the services offered by Action Moving, to meeting with Adam to discuss the logistics of our particular situation and the costs associated with our project, to working with Jason, Mike, and Cory who managed all the details of loading and moving of our furniture EVERYONE was top notch and customer service oriented every step of the way! We have used other moving companies during the course of our careers but, Action Moving was by far the most professional, detail oriented. and price competitive than any other moving company we have worked with. I had Action Moving/Atlas move me from a two story home to a single level. They did an outstanding job. The crew were Jason, Cory, Mike and Cicilo. All four were professional, polite, and worked hard. I would highly recommend this company and crew for your next move. Everything went very smoothly and quickly.

Action Moving was OUTSTANDING. From the coordinator, movers, office staff and billing - they were easy to work with, professional, respectful and careful. Moving is stressful and Action Moving made it less so.
Preparation: They did a good inventory to estimate my move and gave advice on how to pack things and where I might need to do some disassembly (treadmill). I took advantage of their warehouse with free boxes which saved me a lot of hassle and expense. The coordination on both ends of the move was easy to set up.
Moving/Storage: The movers both on the move-out and the move in side were EXCEPTIONAL. I don't think I even had a ding in the wall in either home - with some tight turns and very large furniture. They covered the floors and even put cardboard against the walls where there were tight corners. (I ding my wall carrying a small suitcase to my car). They packed my items carefully into crates as I was in storage for more than 6 months. I had ZERO damage to my possessions and no issues with items in storage.
Price: I wasn't being moved by a company and called around and got quite a few estimates. Action Moving was the most reasonable. The billing for the move and storage was accurate and aligned with the estimates. No surprises!
I recommend without any hesitation. And I have already recommended them - a co-worker used them and also said they were great.

I was so happy with my entire move. Jason, Matt, Cory and Nick M. were so professional. They all introduced themselves when they arrived right at 8:00 am. They prepped the house and did a tour. I was by myself directing them. They were extremely kind and helpful. This was the first time I had movers. It was hard not to move things with them. They helped pack a lot of my garage. I thought I was prepared but it was a lot to move. I can’t say enough about the whole team. I would highly recommend them.

The packing experience was fine, credit where credit is due.The coordination for the packing was sub par and the company blamed me for poor communication despite switching from decent email communication to them making a single (unanswered) call and then proceeding to show up unannounced. It seems the movers themselves and the company lack good communication and coordination.Customer service was apathetic and a bit condescending. I will actively seek a different company in the future and recommend the same for others.Update: the company lied to me on the phone saying they didn’t have alternative contact information for me. Emails show that is not true. Deeply disappointing blame is shifted to the customer.Update 2: Action: I emailed your team providing contact information to coordinate the packout and clearly articulating email or the other numbers were to be used. True it was sent over the holiday weekend, yet when you replied on Tuesday about the survey your clearly had the contact info at that time. Why not use it?Also, you never confirmed the packout date and received confirmation from us so we could prep for you. Why would the customer call to confirm a pickup time when a date hadn’t even been set?I acknowledge this could have been done better, of course. But to be told this was entirely my fault on the phone was simply rude. I asked for an apology and got a lecture.The Action team was disorganized and clearly didn’t communicate internally or read emails sent to them to make things simpler.

Poor communication for which they blamed the customer. Lied on the phone about not having other methods of contact for the customer, a bit condescending on the phone when asked for an apology. Blame shifted to customer. Steer clear and find a better company. The packing itself was fine.

Move from MSP to Palm Springs, CA. Fantastic service from beginning to end!We recently (July 2023) had Action Moving Services move a palette of items from our home in Minneapolis to our 2nd home in Palm Springs and everyone did an amazing job. Not one thing missing or damaged, the price as as expected and everything arrived on time. Adam Trygstad was our estimator to start. He was knowledgeable, helpful, polite, on time and reassuring along the way. He gave us several options to choose and helped us pick the right solution for us. The packers that came to get everything were efficient, careful, polite, respectful and friendly. We were thrilled to have everything arrive on the expected day as we were limited on time to receive it. The crew that unpacked everything were careful, thorough, polite, respectful and so nice. It was well over 100 degrees and they just worked away until everything was done. We asked them to stop to drink plenty of water! I would use them all again in a heartbeat. This experience surpassed my expectations. The price was not inexpensive, but it also seemed totally fair for the amount of items. Thank you to everyone for an amazing job!!!!
