Quick story time, my car was having trouble starting and was on its last life (broken timing chain) I attempted to call my usual shop near by and even showed up desperate that someone would be there but no one was there even tho the sign and hours read “open”.
So, Still while in the area, I desperately looked up near by shops on my phone and stumbled upon “Smith and Nielsen’s” 1min away. I called and got an answer from Derek right away, who agreed to take a look at it and agreed to take it off my hands (even though he wouldn’t be able to work on in right then and there, BUT he took it!) This put me at so much ease of not having to risk being turned away and driving/towing it back home.
Derek was very kind and patient and made sure I understood what was going on and broke down the prices of everything for me. His team got the job done fairly quickly and turned a very scary and costly situation, more positive and light through jokes and charisma.
Needless to say, upon picking up my car I brought in my other car to have them take a look at. Derek and his team did such a great job diagnosing the cars, comparing and finding the best rates and explaining what was gonna happen next.
So blessed I stumbled into this shop! It puts your mind at ease when you know the mechanics actually care. Thanks guys!!

Out of about 5 different shops, this shop gave me the lowest quote for my Acura which was in need of quite a few things. I was impressed with the package deal they were offering me to get my Acura all fixed and back in good running shape. Derek was very good at explaining every detail of what needed to be fixed the part that was needed and what exactly the mechanics need to do to fix it, he was very knowledgeable about auto repairs and that was nice as a customer who lacks that knowledge .

It has been a couple of years since I have had my car into the shop. My daughter just had a major issue with her car and I had it towed over to Tsi. We gave them a call the next morning, no issue with dropping it off and getting the used parts for the rear end. Turnaround time is very reasonable even though they are extremely busy. They always treat me and my family is if we are number one. on on diagnosis is fantastic. They are second to none! Best auto place in town. Chris and Allen are amazing very nice and inviting. You walk in and you feel a home... Derek is great mechanic. This team has kept a old car running and definitely good with putting up with the pain in butt costumers....

i brought my corvette in for a balancer/dampener replacement, was impressed with Derek the gentlman who worked with me, dropped my car off late friday and was ready Tuesday afternoon. driving home i noticed the steering seemed a bit off, Derek told me to bring it back the did an alignment on my car and everything was perfect. i will bring all my cars there in the future, totally trustworthy and i recommend highly!! thanks guys for your work!!!
