Excellent service today from Brandon. I went in to get treats for my chinchilla and decided to look for a new wheel. I asked for assistance and we were unable to find what I needed. He did however go out of his way to help me find other stores that had what I was looking for so I could avoid using Amazon. Because of his help, my little furry friend now has a much quieter, sturdy wheel that's a proper size.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Petco's grooming services, which left me frustrated and concerned for my pet's well-being.
Upon arrival, I was greeted with indifference by the staff, who seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than addressing my questions. My dog, usually calm, appeared stressed due to the chaotic environment. Despite my detailed instructions, the groomer seemed disinterested in following them.
The grooming itself was a disaster. My dog's coat was unevenly cut, and there were several missed spots. To make matters worse, I discovered a small cut on my dog's skin, suggesting careless handling. My dog also returned to me still damp and clearly uncomfortable.
Overall, the experience was unprofessional and unacceptable. Petco's grooming services not only failed to meet basic standards but also raised serious concerns about the safety and well-being of the pets in their care. I will not be returning and advise others to seek more competent and caring grooming services elsewhere.

Very laid back and friendly. Had my boy groomed there and they did a great job. Store is clean and not cluttered like some Petco store are.

I don't remember the doctor's last name but his first name is Marc. I had an appointment for one pup and he took such good care of her. I didn't have an appointment for my other pup but i told him that she had torn her stitches from being spayed at another clinic and and he made me a same day squeeze in appt and got her stitched up and taken care of. I came in scared and stressing about my pup ripping her stitches. He was very compassionate, fast, and made sure everything was reasonably priced. I appreciate him so much for that.

I would NOT recommend using Paige (Brooklyn Park, MN location) as a groomer. I found her to be rude, and unprofessional.
I have been a long term customer of Petco, and have 3 dogs. Because my groomer had been out for personal reasons, I scheduled an appt on 3/31/24 at the Brooklyn Park location. I completed the pre-registration, indicating this was a show dog, and I was only seeking brushing and bathing. I added he had mats in his armpit area, and likely between his toes - and that he could not be shaved in this area. I showed up for my appt approx 7-10 min early and checked in. I had been assigned to Paige. The first words out of her mouth were "Your early and I won't take your dog until your appt time". It was said in an edgy, snarky manner. Not even a "Hello, Welcome to Petco. I see you have not been at this location before. We're glad your here". There was NO greeting of any kind. She immediately launched into my pre-registration of no shaving his mats. She then came to see my dog. There was absolutely NO introductions to my dog by calling his name, or allowing him to sniff her to become accustomed to her as a new person, which is something anyone familiar with dogs would do. She went to the floor next to him and immediately put her hands between his front lets. For the first time ever, my dog cowered and attempted to pull away. (This is an experienced show dog that is used to strangers checking out his structure). She continued to be rude, short and clip. She quoted "policy" of "shaving mats", and "not bathing when there are mats". I attempted to understand further by asking questions, as he has been groomed MANY times by Petco groomers - in the same condition he was currently in (and worse) - with no indication of this being as issue. He was groomed by a PetCo groomer (at another location), when he returned more matted from a field trainer in preparation for a National Specialty and looked absolutely beautiful! Paige was NOT open to my questions. She continued to be rude, sarcastic, and unprofessional. I chose to leave. I was not going to submit my dog to be handled and groomed by her - based on how she treated me and him.
That same day (Sunday), I booked an online appt with the groomer at another PetCo location that had groomed my dog beautifully in the past. In fact, this groomer is the one that helped him to become ready for the National Specialty. She cancelled my appt (Monday), texting me and suggesting I find a "private salon". Coincidental? I think not. It appears as if there may be some "internal communication" between groomers...and the customer is being "blackballed". A compliant has been filed with corporate. This is not how a long term customer that has spent significant money on dog grooming and has tipped very generously (up to 200.00 for one dog) should be treated.
