We received our pup during covid, they met with us in a local parking lot and instantly knew this boy was for us, previously Austin, now Buster, and just the best doggo ever. ?

I wanted to Foster a dog or two and ended up adopting 3 dogs. I Love this place! They allow you to visit any available animal by appointment so you have some alone time with them. The fostering and adopting processes are simple and straight forward. All animals are usually vaccinated and spayed or neutered and are microchiped. Rescue animals are extra loving because they are so appreciative to finally have love...check it out!

The process for adoption with MARS is fantastic! The staff is quick to respond to communications with full transparency and answered all of my questions. I love that they have the foster parents so involved in screening applications because, after all, who knows the pups and kittens better than they do? Our meet & greet was so much more relaxed and easier than I expected. I can’t thank and recommend MARS enough for all they do. I brought home the most perfect pup for my family thanks to MARS. 5 stars aren’t nearly enough!

The staff were very accommodating and flexible as to scheduling the meet and greet. Then once I was there meeting with them they gave me so many options as to how to proceed. They said I could do foster to adopt and then decide after having the dog three days, or I could take him home that day and come back to pay the adoption fee a few days later if I didn't have the payment right away. They also said I could pay that day and take him home that day too if I wanted. I was impressed with so many options! They also said they were fine if I wanted a couple days to think about it before I decided and they would not process other people's applications for that dog until I decided up to a couple days after the meet and greet. Very kind people. Big parking lot that was convenient.

MARS was top notch! We had to make the very difficult decision to put our dog down and MARS treated us and our dog with the utmost compassion. Heather and Ashley were great! Thank you so much for making this very hard day go smoothly. Pricing was also very reasonable. It is based on the size of your animal.

If I could give 100 stars, it wouldn’t be enough. We adopted Brendan from Mars and it was a very smooth experience. I was skeptical about how the foster exchange would work, but it turned out really nice. He’s healthy and adjusted quickly to his new home thanks to the awesome foster parents.

We adopted a dog years ago with MARS, at the time, we were looking for a dog we could train for therapy dog work, we had just lost a dog to cancer we previously adopted through the local Humaine Society trained and certified for therapy work. It became clear after two weeks despite what MARS said about the dog he was not fit for therapy work, due to agression to other dogs and small animals, but still ended up being a great companion to our family for 8 years until until he passed a year ago.We also just had family addopt a dog last week and dispite being told the dog was house broken it is not.When adopting, they will tell you what you want to hear to get dogs adopted over finding good matches for pets and owners.I wouldn't recommend them as an organization to friends or family again.

Their vet and vet techs are the best! It's so nice to have a rescue with a built-in vet. For the adoption fee, you get the shots they need and spay/neuter. I've had my pup for a year now and so glad MARS found him for me!

I wasn't there long & I only spoke to one volunteer so the establishment was very quiet. The volunteer was very nice & informative. Although, I must say, M.A.R.S. is very hard to find. M.A.R.S.'s signage is not prominently posted. The map I used directed me to the wrong area. Which made for a longer, laborious & hot day.
