Like most tow services, this place has its quirks, but their policies are riddled with inconsistencies. After my car broke down on the highway and was towed there, I called to retrieve it, only to be told that only the person listed on the title could pick it up. I asked if that person could authorize me via a call or e-signature, but they flatly refused. Ironically, when I arrived at their office on Monday morning, there were forms available that would’ve authorized me to pick up the car.
To make matters worse, they charged a boarding fee for the weekend—even though they’re closed on weekends.
The most frustrating part was dealing with the -14°F weather while they sent the titled owner to dig through the car in the backyard for the registration. That person doesn’t even drive the car regularly, so of course, they couldn’t find it. Despite my repeated explanations, the staff insisted. At one point, they told me I could search for it myself, only to change their minds yet again.
When I finally picked up the car the next day, the registration papers were sitting in the backseat the whole time—the same papers they said couldn’t be found. And to top it all off, I had to pay another boarding fee.
This place has terrible customer service, inconsistent policies, and poor communication. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I wouldn’t trust them to be upfront or transparent about anything related to your vehicle. If you’re considering their service, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Professional, speedy and courteous. My car was fully intact, and they took care to place my valuables and belongings in the trunk. Thank you for not making a difficult situation worse.

"I had a very negative experience with this towing service. Not only did they tow my truck without a valid reason, but I also experienced racist behavior from the staff. I do not recommend this place at all."

Very rude and entitled supervisor by the name of Stephanie. The staff is mal informed on policies. I was told I could pay cash or card on the phone but once I got there I was told differently. Crappy looking building too.

Just had a horrible experience at Cardinal towing with this woman named Stephanie. Basically, my son and I brought all the paperwork he needed to sign a release so the appraiser could do his job. When we got up there, she said the appraiser just left, but she refused to let him appraise the car even though we were on our way up there. since we have the proper paperwork, we can have them come up there tomorrow. My son have forgot title So we left came back, brought the title then she decides she wasn’t going to allow the appraiser to look at the car and would not give my son the release forms to sign. She said the appraiser had to pay her in order for him to do his job. We called the car dealership which they thought it was the weirdest thing. we even had the claim number for the other insurance because the other person had hit my son. They never heard anything before they try to talk to her, and she basically told them the same thing like she’s holding the car hostage. This woman is suffering for mental health issues, and this is a way to for her to control others because she can’t control her own life, but it’s sick and it’s shameful that she’s giving my son such a hard time so he can move forward and get another car. You can just look at this woman tell she’s miserable and wants to make everybody else’s life miserable.

I recently had a shocking and frustrating experience with Cardinal Towing Services. My car was parked legally and securely in a private parking lot, yet they towed it without any notification or consent. I only discovered my car was missing when I went to use it and found an empty spot.
When I called Cardinal Towing Services, they claimed my car was "improperly parked," which was absolutely not the case. Despite my protest and explanation that the parking was valid, they refused to release my vehicle without charging an exorbitant fee.
The customer service representative was dismissive and unhelpful, providing no evidence or clear reason for why my car was taken. It felt like they were more interested in making a quick buck than in providing a legitimate service. It took days of back-and-forth and a significant out-of-pocket expense to retrieve my vehicle, all for no good reason.
This experience was incredibly stressful and inconvenient. Cardinal Towing Services showed a complete lack of professionalism and respect for their customers. If I could give negative stars on this review, I would gladly do so. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this company, as they seem more focused on exploiting people than providing honest and reliable service.

I was in a car accident and Cardinal towing pretty much laughed in my face when I explained That I had some valuable tools and irreplaceable items that I've been saving for my son and that they were in the trunk of the damaged car. They would not help me get them out before totaling my car and would not provide me with my cars final destination.

If I could give zero stars I would.
My parents were in an accident, and the paramedics left my dad's oxygen in the car. I was talked so rudely too in an emergency situation to get the oxygen from the vehicle so my dad could leave the hospital, as he is oxygen dependent. They lack compassion, and basic human kindness. Their customer service is next to none, they would do nothing to help in the situation, and I was constantly talked over while trying to explain what was happening.
The person I talked to at the Brooklyn park location was incredibly rude, and when I asked to talk to a supervisor her response was "well I am what you get" . If you can have your car towed anywhere else, I would highly recommend thinking twice before using their services.

Only one thing to say, extortion of money. White administration lady in the office is super sketchy and seems money hungry. Hate that we had to work with her.
