Hair type: My daughter has naturally curly hair. I made an appointment to get it washed and cut. The Asia Lady said no she couldn’t do it because it will be to tough to comb. How did the stylist know that my daughter wanted her hair straightened fyi which my daughter told the stylist that
and the stylist refused she told me to make another appointment . Don’t these hair salons deal with all types of hair. I believe she refused because she couldn’t deal with the texture if she would have washed it maybe it would soften up I am glad I didn’t pay my daughter was disappointed but what can you do. I will not make another appointment or return the person over maybe should have said we don’t deal with certain texture of hair

Awful experience I have been going to the owner Tae since I was a young as a small child and have driven the distance to go see her son Tommy whom is amazing and recently had a cut and foil from her last weekend and she completely ruin my hair, I had been growing my hair out for years to get back to the desired length before adding anymore color and I totally trusted her since she’s the owner and asked for only up to two Inches off and she told me to flip my head over and completely chopped my hair off at least more than 4-5 inches are gone now and it is so uneven and the color was to correct and cover my grays and I have natural curly brown hair and she added level 9 to my hair which is basically adding grey and the way she cut my hair ruined the integrity of my curls I am heart broken over a service that cost almost $300 and called to express concerns they said they do not reimburse at all I am at a loss and loosing sleep over this experience I can not even believe this is acceptable.

Used to go there pre-Covid. When Covid came, no answering machine with any sort of message of closure or hours. I found someone to go to and then 2 years later I returned. I came in with picture of cut. She cut it shorter and styled it like nothing like the picture.
Not going back.

I love this place. My regular stylist at MOA moved to LA and it's taken me YEARS to find someone that good at an affordable price. Not to mention a place that is stable and consistent with the rest of the staff which I really like. The lady that has done my hair last several times has fixed a major issue with my graying hair. She has perfectly blended color yet is able to keep some of my lovely gray mixed in. I'm very pleased with the results.

Got a complementary hair wash. It’s very convenient to go to work right after cut. I don’t have to go back home to wash my hair.

I thought I would do something uncommon and write a good review. I started coming to the Brooklyn center fantastic Sams because I needed a haircut. I had given up on getting a really good haircut. I ended up getting the one of the best haircuts I ever had. since I have been going to that location, Kim has cut my hair perfectly every time. so much so that other stylist give me compliments on how flawless and precise my haircuts are. I always get compliments on my eyebrows as well. I plan to continue to come to Kim because of her talent and kindness. thank you Kim for keeping me on point with my hair and appearance.

Booked online & waited 15 mins past my appointment just to have the WORST experience ever by KIM !! She literally sat there and played in my hair. She didn’t even offer to wash my hair and she complained about the management and her Coworkers. When it was time to check out, I asked why she didn’t wash my hair. She said because my hair wouldn’t fit in the bowl remind you I always come to fantastic Sams maybe not this location This has always been an option and this is why I choose fantastic, Sams. She complained that I had too much hair. & then she asked me if it was the price that I was upset about and I told her no it was the service it was very unprofessional for you to sit there and talk about your coworkers the whole time cutting my hair. Then, when I asked to speak to Keira, she tried to hit Keira with the broom . This place is so unprofessional . I feel real bad for Keira That unprofessionalism by her coworker if I could get a bit negative I would avoid it all cost.

We had time to kill on a week day around lunchtime and walked in with three little kids 4,6,8 years old the stylists were great they fit us in and took the people that were already scheduled all my kids got haircuts and the staff didn’t get frustrated because of the sudden extra work and having to juggle existing appointments with the walk ins. And all my kids got their haircut how they wanted it.The staff was great
