Minus stars and legal action needed for this guy. Looks like Mike O'Brien has been honing his trade as a shyster for a long time. Wish we had seen the review from 6 years ago before calling him in Dec of '23. Likewise, he responded very promptly and emailed a proposal to rodent-proof the house, calling for half down ($$$) Since it was over Christmas we sent a check and trusted that he would show up asap. He cashed the check promptly but never came, communicated, or answered a call again. Steer clear of Mike O'Brien, DBA Lakes Area Pest Control, unless you want to throw money away.

Mike did the first half of a bat removal job but when we asked him to finish, he ghosted us for nearly two years. Run away as fast you can.

We hired Mike to do bat remediation in July 2021. He showed up promptly and did the beginning work. We paid him. And then he ghosted us and never completed the second half of the project. Bats are still getting in, he never removed the parts he was supposed to. He isn't returning our phone calls, texts and emails. We have been trying to get ahold of him for 7 months and he does not reply. Do not hire.

We had flying squirrels in our walls. Mike was able to come out fairly quickly. Did great work. Very satisfied!
