Nearby activities: Nissan, Baxter, Brainerd all within a half hour away. Small town shops. Plenty of golf courses and lakes.
Walkability: Resort has restaurants to walk to. Plus plenty of beach and lake activities. Shuttle will bring you to golf courses
Food & drinks: 2 great restaurants and bars. Indoor and outdoor seating

A group of friends and I stayed recently at one of the cabins. It was perfect for a group. Plenty of space to hangout in the yard, the screened-in porch and inside. We especially loved being able to walk to the Dockside Lounge. Great entertainment, food and people. We will make this an annual thing!

I stayed at the resort inn and suites over this past weekend. Overall it was an under whelming experience. To start with the room I had was on the ground floor and you could hear loud loud squeaking, and thuds, from the the floor boards in the room above us on the second floor. It made for poor sleep over the two nights we were there. My family was woken up a few times late each night when people were walking around in their room and going on the balcony with the loud creaking/squeaking sounds from the floor boards. It was like the ceiling was going to cave in on us. To be clear the people in the room above us did nothing wrong. It was just the shoddy construction, or sagging joists, that made for so much noise coming from the floor boards.
I mentioned this to guest services shortly after we checked in and went to our room. It's three days later with no reply from them.
The issue with the room aside the resort part of the complex was lacking. There really wasn't an area for the kids to go swimming in the lake at. The tanning beach and swimming beach were small with no equipment to swim out to. I also didn't see any area you could shore fish from such as a dedicated dock or fishing pier. That seemed odd.
It wasn't a terrible trip. It wasn't also anything that memorable. I would not come back to Breezy Point.

Okay so to start off my sister and I got to Breezy Pointe at 10:30 am and tried to check into our room and they said it wasn’t ready yet it’ll be ready soon and they’ll send us a text when it’s ready.. hours later it still wasn’t ready and still no text, we check back 4 times and still the same response, then 5pm comes around and my sister had to go to the front desk again and they just hand her the key. We had to wait 6 hours for our room to be ready.
2nd. Our checkout is at 12pm, my sister and I went to the lunch buffet and when we came back to our room at 11:30am a cleaning lady was in the parking lot and said “oh I’m so glad I caught you guys, we didn’t see any clothes so we thought u were gone, I have ur mimosas in my car do you want them?” (Mind you, my laptop, my books, and a fridge and freezer with stuff in it was still in the room) I said yes I do ! Then we go to grab the rest of our stuff from the room and my bottle of Jim Beam was missing, so I approach them again asking where is my Jim beam and they wanted to act all confused but they had the Jim beam in their car. So they went into our room BEFORE we even checked out, went through the room and tried to STEAL some of our stuff !
I’m highly disappointed with this place and just wanna say don’t leave ur room the day of checkout or else they will go in and tried to steal your stuff !

The resort was not worth the price at all. Multiple servers were rude and unhelpful. For example, at Whitebirch’s dining in area, the middle-aged woman made the comment, “You’re really needy today, huh?” when I asked to switch from a brat to a dog 10 seconds after ordering, then later asking for a coffee. At the main dinner area, each night the servers were slow and similarly made us feel like we were a burden on their day for being there. For example, when I asked if they had Coke Zero, the server sassily responded “Nope.” then just stared at me, offering no alternative. She would audibly groan when personnel in my party did not state if they wanted soup or salad and/or their sides without prompting when ordering their entree. When ordering dessert, she provided the options to one side of table of 12, then when asked for the option on the other side of the table that could not hear her, she said “Well I already told you.” She made comments about us not helping her pass drinks and plates, as did the busboy.
Unlike most all-inclusive resorts, we were only allotted 1 meal per each meal period (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Breakfast was that of a 1-Star hotel: some powdered scrambled eggs, pancakes, and yogurt. There was no made-to-order egg options, no better coffee such as lattes, or variety in fruit. Lunch options were actually very good, but the service was so slow that after waiting 20 minutes we ended up just grilling our own hotdogs at home. Dinner at Antlers was terrible each night. All meals were shocking cold. The calamari was rubbery and the associated sauce was a cold sludge that you could not dip into. The steaks were poorly cooked, typically overcooked toward well-done. The lobster was clearly microwaved and had little flavor, as was the fish options. Vegetables were boiled yet cold, and the portions were small. Cold desserts were good, but the “lava cake” was so cold the chocolate did not run when opened.
On a better note, the facilities were well maintained. Our house was very nice and cleaning service was great. The view of the lake was spectacular. The whitebirch golf course was good. Nothing spectacular for avid golfers, but overall nice. The Traditional golf course was very poorly maintained. The Pro-Tour level course was an additional $120 for a round, on top of the all-inclusive price, so we could not play there. The bar area and beach are was fun and had great live-music.
All and all, this was no where near worth the price.

Rooms: Kind of standard 1990s "rustic" cabin look.
Nearby activities: Lots to do in this area. Boating, fishing, swimming, shopping, golf.
Food & drinks: Nothing special on property but adequate.

Absolutely lovely! The location, setting, and resort are wonderful. Everyone we encountered who worked there was so nice, above and beyond. Everything you need is right there, no need to leave the resort, and if you do leave, so many good things close by. Went in June before school let out so it was pretty quiet which we liked. Not sure how crazy it might be in the summer. We will definitely return!

Amazing location and experience. Went there for a conference, they provide shuttle bus because the place is so big.
