Drove three hours up here on a Friday for vacation and ended up having a loud whistle come from the front drivers side of my vehicle. Was given Haataja auto’s info from a friend in the area and Don was available to help in a pinch. Took the car Friday night and was able to figure out the problem and get it all fixed in less than 24 hours for a great price. Great communication and good at explaining the problem to someone who doesn’t know much about cars. They do honest work - would 100% recommend.

Saw me on short notice on the weekend for a vibrating engine. Extremely helpful. Explained possible problems, suggested some quick fixes to get us home, and offered to show how I could fix myself more long term. Super reasonably priced, very trustworthy. Would definitely use his services again

We needed a tire patched on Memorial Day weekend and Don saved the day!! No one was open. We are grateful for his help. Fixed the tire quickly and got us back on the road again.

I noticed a huge screw in my tire on Saturday evening. 45 minutes after I called Don, he met me at his shop. He had a new replacement tire for me in stock. Saved me a ton of money on the tire and relieved a lot of stress by fixing it right away on the weekend so I didn't have to wait until Monday. Don is very honest and does whatever he can to help. I highly recommend him and will go to him for my future car needs.

Don couldn't have been available on any day that mattered as much as it did for us on a Saturday night a month ago. We were leaving a separate family Christmas gathering east of Brainerd when our car sounded like a bearing was going out. Instead of doing the smart thing and stopping right away to check it out, we kept driving.
Suffice to say, Don was not only available on a weekend night, but he saved our weekend family plans on our way to pick up our nephew for a day. We got a tire and a spare tire replaced, and that was worth a lot more than we paid him. Thanks again, Don, and apologies for the delay with the review—I know you said it mattered a lot, and I kept the card, but I didn't get around to it until now and I could've done that sooner.

My daughter and son in law had a tire blow out 70 miles from home in the snow, only to find their spare was bad. It was a huge relief to find someone open on a Saturday night, when every other tire repair was closed until Monday morning.
They got the two tires replaced at a very good price. We're very grateful.

Would rate 0 out of 5 stars if I could. We needed a quick, 5 minute exhaust hanger weld done while out of town and stuck in Brainerd. We called this business in hopes to get it fixed for a decent rate due to the amount of time it would take and were told a quote of $80 just to turn on a welder. Rude and not helpful at all. Ended up getting a quote from another guy for $20 and took the 20 minute drive to him instead. Will never call this place again if in need.

Thanks to Don , he was super helpful. My car broke down and he was the one who was available on a weekend to help me out. I will definitely recommend him if you are in Brainerd and need some help in auto repair.

My alternator went bad on a Saturday. Only spot found to even look at my car and it died as I pulled into his lot. He got the part and had it installed by Sunday morning so I could head home (from out of town) He did a great job and even washed the salt off of my car from my travels. Really appreciate the service and willingness to help on the weekend!

We ended up breaking down in Jenkins, MN on a Saturday afternoon. We knew what was wrong but didn't know how to fix it. We are from Iowa, and happened to be up here for a wedding in Cross Lake, MN for the weekend. We ran to grab lunch before the wedding, and broke down at the brewery. I looked online at multiple locations, and Haataja said on Google it could be open. I called a few places and no one answered, most places said closed, so I didn't bother calling. I called Haataja and he answered! Not only did he answer, he tried walking us through how to fix the problem since we knew what it was, but we couldn't figure it out. He recommended Turner Towing to get the car to him, and he said if he had time he would try to look at it, otherwise it would be Monday. We explained to him our situation and that we were stranded with no car and live over 6 hours south. This gentleman was so nice to get us in, and got us back on the road Sunday morning so we didn't have to drive back up next weekend to get the car. He was so helpful and kind, that we just can't appreciate him enough. Hands down bring your business to him! Google wouldn't let me leave 10 stars, but he gets 10 from us!Services: Electrical
