I had gone to run some errands 1.5 hours away from my place. I decided to braid my hair and Yolanda's saloon was the closest. Initially,she had indicated that she was busy however she managed to make it work. I appreciated her flexibility and understanding. She was very friendly and professional throughout the session. I enjoyed our conversation and we had a few things in common. Her braiding is neat and not as painful. I will consider her again in the future.

She is very friendly and experienced she Made me feel comfortable in her shop and was very friendly. My hair turned out wonderful and it only took 3 and a 1/2 hours. I was able to make my meetings afterwards.

I travelled out town for several months and came back with heavy damage on my hair. I had lost all hope to get a braided weave but Yolanda said she could help. AMAZINGLY and to my shock she was able to braided hair!! She managed the braiding for a full weave installation. If you have hair problems go to Yolanda. Shei able to work with all kinds of miracles

I been coming to this shop for over 10 years and the quality went from great to people practically practicing in our heads. YOLANDA’S original crew was great and now she just lets anybody do hair. Yolanda use to take her time and she has fell off. The prices are never the same even though we always get the same styles. The prices always goes up. The environment isn’t welcoming anymore it feels like a prison line up. Not to mention the staff are rude, rough and unprofessional. When clients speak to you you should speak back. That’s common sense. This saddens me to say my family and friends (10 of us total) are actively looking for another shop. Also Yolanda have poor communication skills. I paid $150 for kinky braids that fell of my head with no effort. I call the person to help she told me she not keep touching you my hair everyday, mind you the braids started felling out the same day. Monday I got them done and Tuesday I was back in her chair. Thursday I woke up and two braids was on my pillow. Yesterday a coworker told me my braids was popping out. And finally, today this morning two more braids came out. I had braids before I do understand how it goes. But it’s just crazy how when you take your service to people they really don’t care about your hair like you they just east your money.She told me my hair was short that’s why it’s coming out. I hair is not that short.I am not happy that I have to go somewhere else because she don’t want to keep touching me up. Lol I love to support Black businesses, but I will not support people that don’t have your best interest. I love my love and I care what happens to it. So people please be aware of AFRICAN BRAIDS SHOPS WITH HAIRSTYLES THAT JUST WANT YOUR MONEY.
