Horrible shipping service! They were supposed to call me to set up a delivery time for my teenagers bunk bed, and they never called, didnt' even ring the doorbell and just dumped it on my driveway!!! This is a $1000, object that weighs 300 pounds and they just dumped it on my driveway!!! For such large packages, people need to plan! At least a phone call would have been nice.

Ordered 1/2 loft bed for my son. With 2 chest of drawers. Love the set. They also recommended a couple to put the bed set together for us. Fantastic and worth the charge . I highly recommend Totally Kids

Don't Buy from them. I ordered 2 twin beds and 2 bookshelves Oct 14, 2020. I had to file a claim with Pay pal before Finally receiving them 4.5 months later on March 5, 2021. The whole back of the bookshelf is busted off.There are black hand prints and shoe prints on the wood.

Just brought a queen size bunked bed...bracket was pre-assembled wrong..customer service is a joke, took 2 weeks to receive new brackets...continues to assembled and found out a screw does not have any thread and they did not provide any excess screws...if I had a chance to do it again I WILL NOT buy from them..horrible business model, customer is not first..DONT BUY

this place is a joke. ordered in November and still have not recieved the bed. its January. Go eat a big bag of di#$s. customer service is a joke. not sure how you guys are still in business. we will be reporting you to the better business bureau today.

The bunk we ordered is mediocre, I had been searching for this style and am only keeping it because I can’t find it anywhere else. Says it’s made of real wood, if it is it’s terrible quality wood and there are some parts that are particle board. The directions were so bad, the holes did not line up and not all the screws were included. We even had to drill some of our own holes. The description said made in Brazil but when we opened the boxes it clearly says made in China. Over priced furniture! We had to cancel the matching desk because the shipping was 12 weeks and they wouldn’t ship the bed by itself even though they were separate purchases.

I ordered a set of bunkbeds on august 26th and at check out it said they were in stock and would ship in 2 to 6 weeks. then i get an e mail the next day that said 2 to 8 weeks, ok fine not a big deal. after 6 weeks of seeing the status of my order had never changed from "processing" i tried calling but you can never get a hold of any one you can only leave a message, so i did with all the info needed to call me back. after 2 days of nothing i realised there was a link to e mail the company so i did and asked what was going on with my order. they quickly replied that they had gottent my call, funny cause no one every tried calling me back, and that my order was due to ship on october 5th. so on october 6th it still says that it's "in process" so i tried calling and again no answer, so i emailed them again and someone did try calling me at 8pm when i was getting the kids ready for bed and couldnt answer, and left a voice mail that they were sorry for calling after hours and they would e mail me the info on my order and to make sure to check my spam folder if i wasnt recieving their e mails. well after 2 days of no email i e mail them back and told them to check the e mail address cause im not getting anything from them and surprise surprise now i get the e mail that my order had some parts that were back ordered and would be ready to ship the week of october 26th. really!? how was it ready to be shipped on the 5th and now it wont be ready till the 26th. so i tell them this is horrible customer service and that i should just get my money back, no reply, then on november 1st i get an e mail that due to covid my order will not be ready untill february 22! and i can cancel it if i want but that all company's are experiencing delays due to covid. ummmm no i found the same thing made from the same type of wood on amazon for $700 less and it shipped the same day i ordered it! this company is a joke they tell you the item is in stock and then change the delivery date multiple times and hold your money hostage for months. i get covid is slowing things down, but then put that on your page and be upfront about it and let people cancel their order when you miss the first shipping date dont keep dragging it out like its our fault that the product isnt in stock and dont promise a delivery date. worst company ever do not waste your time and money

Do not engage with this furniture company. Their products are adorable; however, their service is abysmal. These days the story about the delayed shipment is "because of Covid-19". Sure. These delays have gone on for years and years and are not at all Covid-related. Save your time, money, and energy and shop elsewhere. You'll regret Totally Kids Furniture and/or thebeanbagstore.com

In the end, I got what I wanted, which is affordable loft beds made in the U.S. of real wood (not particle board), and I appreciate that the people who run the business are trying to do right by their customers.After posting a one star review (below), I got a personal call from one of the owners of the business who wanted to understand the problem. Within a week, I had received a shipment of replacement parts, sent by FedEx instead of UPS Freight this time. This shipment was slightly damaged too, in a way similar to the first (suggesting to me that the UPS guy's critique of the packaging is valid) but between the two shipments I have everything we need to assemble the beds.-----------original review-----------I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE. I ordered two loft beds from Totally Kids in July. Both were damaged at delivery. (Perhaps I should have just refused delivery and asked for a refund, but I wanted to give the vendors a chance to make it right, assuming that perhaps it was not their fault that they were damaged in shipping, though the UPS delivery man was critical of the shoddy packaging.) After two months and several emails exchanged with customer service, I have received acknowledgment of the problem but then NO ACTION TO MAKE IT RIGHT. I still have nothing except a huge pile of damaged bed parts that cost me hundreds of dollars. I would have been happy with replacement parts if they would have just sent them, but at this point I just want a refund.

If I could give this place zero star, I totally would! Placed an order and fully PAID for a full size bed with bookshelf, 2 desks with hutches, and a bedside table back in December 11,2019, called the same day and confirmed with a woman who worked there named Devon. She first told me it will come in a month or so. Then got a call from her a few days later saying they are made to order, so we are looking at Mid February 2020. I bought my kids bunkbed, trundle from them before. So I need to match the rest of the room. So I had to settle and wait. And it's cool that she called and inform me, and I'm fine with it. Today February 25, 2020. I called and check on the status of the order. I was told the staining process went wrong and they had to send everything back and order again, so we are looking at April delivery!!! I'm speechless as how unprofessional they are. She even told me she JUST FOUND OUT YESTERDAY AND WAS ABOUT TO CALL ME. Do you think I can believe you? What a coincident that I called and you JUST found out! This is the worst furniture shopping experience I've ever had. Take your money somewhere and DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCUMBAGS! Imagine your kids were excited about getting new bed and desks, waited for the over 2 months, and opps!!! They're not coming at all. Thank you Totally kids. You are dead to me.

AMAZING!!! Customer service from day one was exceptional. I was worried about buying such a large item on-line and not seeing it in person. After reading the other reviews, I realized most people that complained were complaining about shipping related issues and not the quality. Also being in a business that also receives tons of reviews, I acknowledge that some customers are unreasonable and will never be happy. I called and spoke with Devon before I ordered and she answered all of my questions and concerns. After feeling more confident after speaking with her, I decided to order the Annoplis Blue queen over full. They kept in touch as to the status and the product arrived when expected. The quality is great!!! Once again I had a question about installation and Devon was a huge help! Once fully assembled I started to put the underbed drawers together. There was a slight manufacturing flaw and once again Devon answered and passed my concern onto someone else. Jessica responded in less than 48 hours and has a replacement part on the way with absolutely zero hassle. Admittedly, I took a few months to put the bed together because I was reflooring the house. They easily could have told me, “Sir you ordered this months ago and just brought this to our attention, I’m sorry we can’t help”. However they didn’t even question that and as mentioned with zero hassle sent me a replacement part. I honestly cannot say one bad thing about this store or their product. Order with confidence!!!! Excellent customer service! FYI: You will need help putting together and should have some handyman knowledge of how things work and how to use a level to put this together correctly. If not, spend the extra money and hire someone.

So I was hesitant to order online but I got the one and only Kelly over a live chat an she was a huge help in answering all questions asked, an all offers available for what I am looking for. She is the sole reason for me ordering from this company an she would be a big asset to any company good people are hard to find now a days an you should do whatever can to keep an employee like her under your roof an working for your company.
