December 2023 by Nancy J.
Nancy J. Very disappointed in customer service. We reached out to the for our pontoon boat loan September 2023 for we had fraud on our checking account and we needed to give them our new banking info. We spoke to a gentleman and gave our new banking info. We considered this staff member to make our payment current. He did not and has left. First of November were looking at our account and saw that the payments were not coming out of our new account that we gave them in September. We had two calls with the credit union in November and also gave them our banking info to pay up our account. Come December my credit was dinged. I have never had my credit dinged. We called in and spoke with a team member ( I am being nice not to use names). She took my payment over the phone for the past two months and then for the current month. She then sent me the DocuSign go have our payments come out monthly. I shared why could this not have happened in September and then in November when we spoke with them. She shared that she saw no conversations details but saw why had called in. I was frustrated and I wanted to leave a note to their customer service and she ended up forwarding my note. We received a call back from their member services contact and we stressed our frustration on we were proactive in getting them the correct info for the payments to be on time. She said that we were at fault and she could not fix the credit damage. Being in customer service myself I shared she was not listening to us on when we started this process back in September. How could our Dec contact finally help us and three other times of contact have failed. Now today after all the payments are up today and forward by one month. Plus, we are on automatic payment I received a second hit on my credit by Share Point. I am besides myself. I would never use Share Point Credit Union again. I would welcome them to call me and help me if they are willing to be customer service friendly.

Not customer friendly and they will hit you with ridiculous fees for things that aren't your fault. They charged me double for a month of insurance than what State Farm does for a year. Don't get your loan with them.

It was a pleasure working with Jean & Lindsay. It was a smooth and stress-free experience from start to finish. They were both very knowledgeable and professional, and were always available to answer any questions. Communication was clear and timely. Overall, highly recommend!

I’ve been a member since 1986 when it was Retail Employees Credit Union. It has consistently had the same kind of personalized service throughout. It’s nice to speak to someone who knows you in a bank, or at least is familiar with your customer record. Also, it’s refreshing to call a customer service support line and never get some guy in India saying his name is John! I’m actually speaking to someone in a branch. ?

SharePoint has been a really great help in reorganizing my finances. I have had one car loan and I refinanced my mortgage with them. I got a shorter cheaper deal. Staff have been great . Also This Credit Union is able to make fast decisions on their businesses and does not require lengthy and full of paper processes. Definitely a family like business model. focused in helping and mutual growth.

SharePoint is the worst CU on the planet. They might as well be TCF on the inside. Terrible leadership and they don't care about the members any longer. Look Elsewhere.

The absolute worst CU ever. They do not care about their members at all. Don't bother. I have been a member for 18 years.

I have always had the best service here. I have been with them for nearly 30 years and I have moved 60+ miles away and still have my business there. Always curious staff.

I have had a car loan with them for the last five years. I just had it paid off by a third party due to a trade I had made. I called the credit union several times before and after, because I knew the payoff would be close to my car payment date which was on auto pay (and did not want my payment to be pulled due to the payoff). Call #1 I asked about it and was told not to worry, my March payment would not be pulled. I looked online the other day and my other SharePoint savings account had a credit that looked like the amount of the March car payment that I originally was told would not be pulled from my bank account. So I called again more than once the other day to ask about this and why there was a credit in the amount of my car payment. The gal I spoke to said she wanted to look into it further, called me back, said she and her manager looked at it and STILL told me that the March payment hadn't been pulled. We did paperwork to close my other account and they are issuing me the credit for what was the March payment I was told was not/had not been pulled, and lo and behold after being told several times by several people my March payment was pulled from my bank account, anyway. This experience after 5 years of mostly pleasant service has completely disappointed me. I did not get one correct answer out of anyone I spoke to. They are making me whole in issuing the credit for my payment, but now I have to wait for a check to come in the mail to cover it.
