This is our neighborhood urgent care. They have this thing called “call ahead now” which we use because we have a little girl and waiting for hours is terrible when she is sick. I’ve used call ahead twice and It doesn’t expedite the process at all. We waited in the waiting room for over an hour, finally got back to a room and waited for over an hour. Of course I have a sick 2 year old, the nurses try to get in and out so quick and say the doctor will be in soon. I finally went out to the nurse desk where 4 people were sitting looking at their phones and asked when we could see a doctor to get our sick child out of this place. Of course, they couldn’t give me a time. Went back to the room and my child threw up everywhere. Probably because we’ve been waiting in a hot gross room for 1.5hours with the door closed. This place is a joke. I understand that we would have to wait but this is ridiculous and I’m so tired of it. If you have a sick child- don’t come here.

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Fairview Oxboro clinic, and I can confidently say it was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I scheduled an appointment well in advance, only to arrive and find out that the clinic had booked me for wrong appointment. When I approached the staff to rectify the mistake, I was met with indifference and a complete lack of accountability.
Not only did they refuse to acknowledge their error, but they also made no effort to accommodate me or reschedule my appointment in a timely manner. The staff were rude, unhelpful, and seemed more interested in shifting the blame than actually assisting a patient in need.
This level of incompetence and unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially in a healthcare setting where patients rely on accurate scheduling and compassionate support. I strongly advise anyone considering this clinic to look elsewhere. Your time and health are too important to be entrusted to a facility that clearly doesn't value its patients or their concerns.
I regret taking my kids all this year to this clinic?

Dr Mark R. Nielsen
I have never had an encounter with a doctor who was more poorly trained in active communication in my life.
He seemed actively threatened by my asking questions about the "facts" he was telling me, and seemed threatened when I pointed out that at least one thing he had said was not true.
I have never met a doctor more combative or threatened by a patient asking questions or pointing out problems with his arguments/answers.
And he seemed personally offended by my having a mask on in the doctor's office.
He questioned me about my mask, wanting to know if I was sick and treating me like a lunatic for answering about covid and bird flu being up again (mid pandemic numbers according to sewer testing).
He insisted that infections of the ears and sinuses had nothing to do with encephalitis or meningitis, which is a well-established disease progression.
He insisted that one had to be able to report active symptoms to have something wrong, to which I told him, "I don't have anything wrong right now, I want to talk about my health with a doctor who can explain things to me." at which point he proceeded to insist that I have to have symptoms to have something wrong, and that there's nothing he can do for me today unless I can tell him what I want him to do for me today.
His final statement was something to the effect of, "If you won't trust my opinion as someone with 40 years of medical experience that there's nothing wrong with you right now, then we're done here."
I reiterated that nothing's wrong right now, my stuff is resolving despite their opinion that there was nothing to resolve and I'm just as stressed and anxious as before my symptoms started to resolve (so they weren't caused by the stress or anxiety).

No staff to check patients in. I watched patients walking around looking where to go. It felt like the building was abandoned.

Checked online, website said 19 minute wait. Other locations were at capacity. Upon arriving was told they're at capacity as well. Would have been nice to see the website updated in a more timely fashion.

This Urgent Care is the best one and I always go here. All the time usually satisfied but today they did outstanding care. Very appreciate Dr Joseph Aaron Wilkie. He went above and beyond helping my children. Thank you so much for the Urgent Care Team. You guys are heroes. ?

Did not have an Xray technician available and directed us to the Fairview Urgent Care in Edina that was closed. -100/10 on the competency scale.

I was 10 minutes late for my appointment, ironically because I was being seen for sleep disorders and I overslept. I get 2 days off a month. I scheduled on my day off. I was told to reschedule. Last year, my insurance company gave this outfit $267,000. I asked to see my doctor for 5 minutes for a sleep study referral and was told no. My next request was for a release of medical records to go back to AALFA CLINIC where I should have stayed, but moved. I will make the drive from Bloomington to White Bear to be treated with respect. My insurance company and I will take our measly quarter of a million dollars elsewhere.

I wanted 1 thing, a referral. That is exactly what I scheduled my appt for. Mind you, I am not a fan of Drs. So I was probably not as nice as I could have neen. But when she looked my body up and down like she was planning on a date, I just wanted what I came for and to leave. It was very unprofessional and creepy. Also I was asked about a colonoscopy, a pap smear and if I wanted the COVID or flu shot. By the end of the 5 minutes we both wanted this encounter to be over. No. I just want my referral. There should be an option to just not have to answer those questions.
I get Drs have to check a box but I don't want to waste your time, don't waste mine. I will not be going back to her. Terrible Dr. .

On 12/12, the provider care team nurse scheduled appointment with Dr. Sonia Helmy because my son did not eat since thanksgiving week.
On 12/14, I left work and picked up my son. I made it the clinic reception at 1:38 and they won't see my sick son. Receptionist said the provider wont see your child and you need to reschedule the appointment. They said the appointment check in was 1:20pm. I explained to them that I had to leave work and pick him up from daycare. They did not care about my son wellbeing
I was so upset so I called the patients relations from downstairs and they wouldn't help me either. I was shocked the doctor refused to see him and she can see from the notes it was scheduled by nurse due to sickness.
Overall, I have had couple of bad experiences as immigrant muslim woman with fairview clinic and hospitals but I still kept going to pediatrician clinic because I didn't want to change his doctor and we been going there since he was born.
I will not recommend anyone to this clinic.
