I don’t know what Jacinda did to our taxes. We have had to pay over $600 in back taxes and fees. I really just want to talk to a manager. Or her… Every time I call it is someone from another country. We keep getting letters from the IRS that we are late and owe more money! Please go elsewhere. This place is a joke! Please Atleast try to help us HR block! Tried calling several times!

I had a phenomenal experience with Bryan Marshall as my tax pro. I gave him quite the handful to deal with, & he did! I highly recommend requesting an appt with him.

I made an appointment 5 pm to file my property taxes, a man attended to me, who unfortunately had to leave and then he left me with another, who unfortunately and from the first impression, the way he spoke to me, raising his voice and making unnecessary questions and uncomfortable impositions, which made me see that there really are dehumanized people in this world, he was probably tired, but when you work with respectful clients like I present myself, you have to be patient and find a solution to things, I had never been treated like this before anywhere else, I won't go back again, his first or last name, "Marshall"

I would like to do a positive review as both Carol's and the gentleman there are kind. However, it was a nightmare. Our 2024 taxes were dropped off before April 15th. Then, because they were not done, we even went in there. Carol said she electronically sent them in, but she didn't. My husband called the main number. They talked awhile as the local office closed, but she said she would have someone call asap on Monday. No return call. We had to get amendments done as well that weren't done in time. We had to get an attorney because of the IRS, and she couldn't believe the dysfunction at that office. Now, we received a letter from the state that our taxes for 2024 were late, and they are adding penalties and interest, over $400 dollars!! I'm so disappointed as who really needs the IRS breathing down your back. We will never ever go there again. Our attorney gave us a name of another person, out of state even, and he had our amendment done in a couple of hours. We lost $800 dollars as we had to pay H&R Block, plus the other tax consultant who completed them correctly for us. Him, I didn't mind paying, as we received a service.

Working with H&R block was like pulling teeth. I went in for a simple ammended 2022 tax return to fix a costly error. I told them the exact issue, and was quoted $99, I left my tax documents with them after the office visit. Several weeks later there was a followup call where I answered some questions about the error (Repeated the same thing I explained initially, as granular as the box # on the return) then radio silence for weeks. I eventually called to ask what the status was. After several phone calls and another office visit, it turns out-
1. My documents were never scanned into their system
2. My documents were moved to an entirely different town/branch without my knowledge
On top of that, once they actually did the work which was accomplished in less than an hour, I was charged over $300 (remember, quoted $99)
I honestly think that if I hadn't called and asked for an update, my documents would have been left and forgotten. I'd have been better off just doing it myself and saved myself hundreds of dollars and months of time

I can't speak for others' experiences with the office assistant, but I had a quick response time and received excellent help from the tax professional. Katy Stenross, whom I was referred to, was exceptional to work with. She is highly professional, and the entire process was seamless. I was able to submit all necessary documents ahead of time, and our time together was incredibly efficient. Katy is dedicated to helping you and explains everything in a clear and understandable manner. I highly recommend working with her for all your tax needs.

No call backs, no help, and cancel appointments that someone else had set up and havr to rebook? This h&r block location is just worthless in all aspects.

Horrible Customer Service Tax pro showed up 30 mins late my appointment was at 1pm barely could speak English and couldn't navigate the system since she was having issues locating my previous return and on top of that kept checking her schedule for upcoming appointments she didn’t complete my return I guess she was preparing for the next customer I will NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION VERY UNPROFESSIONAL
