closed to the public it’s being used for housing the homeless since october 2022. wasn’t notified nor wasn’t taking off listing on booking websites. so they’ll get a calm 2 star review cause wasn’t aware of the situation and at least the homeless has somewhere to go. no disrespect. other than that one star.

They over booked us and they said they are going to have us go to their other hotel and never told them about us coming there. The other hotel didn't have a room we booked. Nobody would answer their phone and never replied to their email. I will not recommend this hotel to

I had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Bloomington Airport South in Minnesota for a week and I must say it was an excellent experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making my stay even more enjoyable. Vanessa Cruz was my main point of contact, and she was amazing. She went above and beyond to ensure that I had a comfortable stay and that any issues I had were resolved quickly. I also had the pleasure of interacting with Bethany, Estevan, Stephanie, and the mystery night owl, who all made sure that my stay was as pleasant as possible. The location of the hotel was also great. It was conveniently located near major roads, which made it easy for me to navigate the area. Additionally, there were plenty of late-night food options nearby, which was perfect for me as I often keep odd hours. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, however, I would have preferred a newer mattress as the one in my room was a bit worn. But overall, the room was comfortable and had all the amenities I needed.I am long overdue in posting my review, but I wanted to take the time to express my appreciation for the wonderful team at the Holiday Inn Bloomington South. I plan to return in the future and hope to see some familiar faces from my previous stay. If you're looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Bloomington, I highly recommend this hotel.

The front desk personal Vanessa couldn't be found ever. Too busy running her mouth with staff and on her phone to be able to make a room key.

4 Room changes on a 1 night stay... Dates 11/16/2022 -11/17/2022.This was a personal trip, not business related. From what I could tell this was the newest and closest hotel to Bloomington Airport KBMI and was our 1st stay at this hotel. We had a 6am flight Wednesday morning so this checked those boxes, including the airport shuttle. We checked in Tuesday around dinner time and proceeded to change rooms 4 times over the course of the next few hours. Details: First room had toilet seat about to depart toilet (super loose) and a iron but no ironing board, no big deal. Call front desk ask to fix seat and bring up ironing board. Front desk says they will send someone to fix seat but they do not supply ironing boards...hmm. Feeling emboldened, I ask why a iron is supplied in the room if no board and they say they do not know. Hours go by and no maintenance to fix toilet. Go to bed about 9pm and then a loud gathering begins in room next door a few minutes later, just our luck. Call front desk to inquire about quiet hours or to change rooms. Front desk opts to change our room rather than address the noise. Desk then switches us to a room that was already occupied, nice surprise for me and the room occupant when I open the door! Wife and I go back downstairs and switch rooms again. Room #3 delighted us with not being made up after last person left, towels, sheets and food everywhere and reeked of canibus. Back downstairs for room #4. This time room was clean and ready for bed. Sleeping soundly at 1am the heater started a loud screeching noise like the compressor was failing. I shut it off rather than deal with the noise but temp was down to 50 when our alarm went off at 3:30. In the morning, the front desk person could not figure out how to check out the person in front of us and was so upset she was using derogatory language in front of her customers, not professional. This long winded review basically highlights obvious front desk issues at this hotel. On the plus side, the airport shuttle driver was prompt and very nice. I unfortunately have to stay in hotels 3-4 nights a week with my job so I have a realistic view of what to expect at a hotel. Would I stay here again...No.

The room was clean. Staff was friendly and speedy. Checked in online and saved lots of time at the desk. There's a conviently located Green Mill in the hotel with good food and drinks.Had no issues with the room. Photos are from while I was in it and had used cups etc and put my stuff here and there.I didn't use the pool.Overall good experience and would gladly stay again.

The check in process was frustrating. The front desk clerk couldn't find my reservation. The room was a king suite, which was alright. The bathroom is in dire need of an update. The mini fridge had been left open therefore it was warm, and the freezer had defrosted and caused the carpet to be soaked. The location is great. Right off 35W.

This place is outdated, dirty, and the hallways and rooms smell awful. I’m fact, the room smelled like mold and sex. The area around t here pool had empty cans, booze bottles, and pizza boxes from the night before everywhere…..and it was almost noon. The staff at the desk were friendly, that’s about all I can say.

I love out the bar is near the pool. And around the pool we're gates, this is good if you have a small child who likes to get away. They have good pizza too .

I disliked this place solely because of the pool and hottub. They were pitiful. Very very small, their are so many gates and its so spaced out. And the bottoms of them were full of gravel and dirt. It clearly needs to be cleaned. Won't be coming back here or recommending it to others.Food & drinks: It was nice that Green Mill was on sight for easy ordering.

Now that I'm a pet owner of two pups our main concern is that the hotel is pet friendly and this one is- which is a big plus for us.I thought this one was a little closer to the MOA, it's about a 10 min drive longer in traffic and kind of off the beaten path. Not a ton to do right by the hotel and no restaurants other than Green Mill by it.Check in- fast- you can check in digitally online.Very friendly staff.Halloween treat bagsNewspapersLemon waterCoffeeOur room came with breakfast vouchers otherwise the buffet is $10.00Buffet includes:Sausage LinksBacon- very crispyYogurtOatmealPackaged bagels, danishes, breadApplesOrangesCold eggsCold hard tater totsApple juice, orange juiceMilkIt's okay, but not sure I would pay the $10 if I didn't have the vouchers.Indoor pool is okay size, a little on the smallish side. Has a basketball hoop.Small hot tub that has a max of 6Plenty of patio tablesGreen Mill attachedRooms are standard roomsLinens are not the warmest and not the cleanest- other peoples hair creeps me out. Bathroom has the standard toiletries. American girl size soap. Could use an update- paint chipping.Overall, it's not a bad hotel. Plenty of parking. Grass is scarce for the pups, but it serves its purpose.

Had a room to stay at before our early flight. Our room was on the bottom floor with an entrance to the pool, and it was super loud. Then we did not have a remote for our TV. I went to the counter directly, and they said they would send maintenance over with a remote, they never did....The room was dirty, our blankets and sheets had some type of red juice or koolaid stain on them, the floor had m&m's by the bed. We were extremely un-satisfied.

I would not recommend this place. The pictures posted by the business make it look a lot nicer than it is. The pool looks really nice in the pics, but once you arrive it is a lot smaller and quite dated. We arrived to find dirty wash rags in our room, as well as only 2 sets of towels, even though we had marked 4 people to stay. We also paid for “breakfast” which we were told the next morning they did not offer, to later find out when checking out two days later that they do have a small boxed breakfast.. not what you would think of for a hotel breakfast though. All of the garbages were full on the property, they were out of coffee each morning we went up there. I also felt bad for the front desk guy as he was opening the pool, stocking the towels, filling the coffee, answering phones, checking in people. Seems they need to have the maids doing some of that. Also, the prices for their snack bar were excessive. $2 for a 1oz bag of chips ?! The prices at Hilton or other nicer places are better than that.Overall not a great experience, needs a refresh in parts of the hotel, more cleaning/service, and better snack bar pricing.

Upon arriving, we were there 15 min early than our check in. The counter employee said the rooms would be ready for an hour or so. There wasn’t any manager to talk to. As we waited with 5 others to get a room. There was another employee that started work. A woman and her kid checked in and got a room, but our weren’t ready!! Went back to the desk and said something and he just up graded my room at no charge. Gave us a 10% off to the adjoining restaurant. Come to find out it doesn’t open til 11, so there’s no breakfast for checking out. Now that was great until I seen make-up on the pillow cases and went to cut the air on and there was a hole that you can see the outside. Satins on the curtains fly in the room probably from hole. Never stay there again and won’t recommend them!! Hotel has gone down need a face lift and upgrade!!
