“The fact they are open 24 hrs alone is enough for me to give AF a five star rating. The LONG list of options: personal training, nutrition help, body composition scanner, etc. are all icing on the cake.”

“The best gym in the twin cities hands down! The classes are fun, and challenging. It’s a very encouraging environment and they host lots of fun events as well. Highly recommend!”

“I was there for boys basketball. The gym is huge, and the fans are a long way from the action, but you can't do anything about that! The host staff were outstanding, our first time there, they stopped what they were doing to show us where to go. The score table staff was very welcoming and kind. I'm glad they are part of the Trip Metro Conference”

“I loved loved loved going to lifetime fitness to workout and work on my basketball game and other things, but now with the different hours and days we can use the gym due to the different hours for Medicare or certain level of our insurance is ridiculous. People with disabilities should be able to use this gym and other lifetime gyms regardless of insurance. I’m completely outraged and will most indefinitely be leaving this gym. This rating is for the facility rather than anything else. Please reach out if you want to keep ur loyal customer. I’m not paying the extra 100 bucks per month when I wasn’t paying anything before to use the gym for free. Overall I’m unsatisfied with everything lately.”

“As other reviewers mention, this Lifetime isn’t the cleanest and it doesn’t have the greatest selection of equipment. Everything feels outdated from the carpeted exercise area to the showers that smell vaguely of wet dog. But I keep coming back with the crew of misfit regulars and retirees because the staff are great and it doesn’t feel as pretentious as the other locations. I recommend Jacob as a trainer if you’re looking for strength training from someone who is knowledgeable and encouraging without the salesy former athlete arrogance you’d expect from male trainers. I knew absolutely nothing when I started working with him and now feel confident weight lifting. Note to management: Please remove the carpet and add extra squat racks!”

“Have been going to this PF location for the past couple of years. It was very good until recently. New equipment was a nice addition. However, during my last few visits, I have had trouble finding a bench for the Smith machines. Folks were taking them to other areas of the gym and, often, just using them as shelves for phones and water bottles, and to sit on. A couple of times I saw customers use the bench at the Smith machine and then take it with them, leaving the machine without a bench. I have no problem waiting for a bench during busy periods . I do take issue with the increasingly selfish behavior that seems to be on the rise at this PF location. Management should either, buy more benches, or establish and enforce a rule that benches must stay with the Smith machines.

Thanks for the prompt response to my concerns. I appreciate it!”
