I can't believe this was in my Yelp drafts and not posted promptly. For that, I apologize. Nevertheless, my review is sincere and must be shared. Discount Tire has earned my repeated business over and over again for years. This past Thursday, July 1st, 2021 I had a leak in my left rear tire. I knew it either had to be repaired or replaced. My wife asked if I should go to Tires Plus because Discount Tire was closed? I said, "no, I will go to Discount Tire tomorrow when they're open". Upon arriving at Discount Tire in Bloomington, MN (on Lyndale ave), I was approached in the parking lot. The gentleman in the red polo and black pants asked me how I was, and what he could help me with today, and that his name was Bobby. He looked at my bad tire, and said he'd take a quick look to check my other tires. Bobby said let's get you checked in, there are some people ahead of you, and it will take about 30-45min. As I waited, I noticed that everyone was professional, smiling, the floors and waiting area was clean. Everyone working there seemed to enjoy taking care of the customers. They took great care of me as if I was a personal friend or well-respected liked family member. I was in their system because I only buy tires from them. They took care of fixing my tire and pulled my car in front. They handed me my key and I asked "is there a bill?" "No, it's all taken care of". Wow. Incredible. Bobby, Luke, and all the fellows at Discount Tire in Bloomington are outstanding. First class service from first class people.

This is hands down the best location, the staff and service is 150%. As a woman I always worry if I’m being ripped of because the lack of knowledge in this department. I had gotten my car scanned from my mechanic who told me my TPS meter was dead, apparently they do go out on their own and if that happens your digital odometer won’t display! All you’ll get is a sensor fault error. Anyho, I went to the lyndale location to get it fixed and they worked with me and replaced all 4 at a reasonable price! I mean I drove to this location from Hudson!!. The Woodbury location sucks!! This location has the most ethical lovable staff, so be patient, I assure you it’s worthy the wait. I will only travel to this location from now on. Oh side note, they replaced my very neglected wiper blade what would whisp about in the wind too! All love. Remember be patient, they do get busy, plan ahead. You will not be disappointed.

The customer service is impeccable. The most solution oriented team around and incredibly kind human beings. I ended up needing two new tires and they took care of it quickly. I will never go anywhere other than discount tires because I know I can depend on them! 100000/10

Went in to get air for tires and was greeted by a smiling employee (sorry forgot name). He told me to stay in car and he checked all tires. You can tell he worked with joy. I will be back❤️❤️

I have been going to this Discount Tire for close to 20 years. I have spent thousands of dollars there over the years.I bought steel wheels and winter tires for my car from this shop a few years back, and have the shop swap them on and off each spring/fall (it is included in the price). When I had the wheels swapped on this last fall, the tech broke a stud off due to a seized wheel lug nut (that was installed by the shop). I had to have my local trusted mechanic replace all 5 studs and wheel lug nuts on that corner out of pocket. When my mechanic was taking the wheel off, another two studs broke due to seized lug nuts.Just today, my mechanic went to take off two of the OTHER wheels to replace two failed TMPS sensors (that were also installed by Discount Tire). One of the studs broke off on THAT side too. So now I get to pay $300 out of pocket to replace TPMS sensors, and another $150 to replace the broken wheel stud and lug nut.For the non-car savvy, lug nuts seize on wheel studs when they are grossly overtightened, or cross threaded upon install. This was 100% due to improper installation by Discount Tire's techs.This was just my latest bad experience. Two years ago I had the same wheels balanced, and the balancing weights all fell off of the front two wheels by the time I got home.Save your money and mental health and avoid this place. Go to Samaritan Tire in Edina if you want a proper wheel shop. I will never go back to Discount Tire, and will make sure my friends and family do not go back either.

Mitch was very helpful and explained options well for me, he did what he said he was going to do. Mitch is a fabulous manager, he helped me select Cross Climate Michelin tires, had my safety in mind after having a flat tire, and he resolved another issue successfully for me. I appreciate his excellent customer service. I will continue going back because of him.

If I could give six stars, I would, for one reason: Jordan. I have previously purchased 5 sets of winter tires at this store for me and my wife over the past 15 years. The service has been good, and the prices are also good, and if you make an appointment in advance, they are pretty good about getting you in and out quickly (they are a busy store), which is why I keep coming back. Last weekend, I brought my new car into the store to put on new snow tires. I had ordered the tires and wheels a week prior to my appointment. The night before my scheduled appointment, Jordan called me to tell me my tires hadn't arrived. I called him the next morning before the store opened (7 am) and we found a satisfactory replacement tire that they had in stock. After leaving the store, I noticed a significant vibration at about 70 mph. I brought the car in the next morning. Jordan did his best to get me in for a rebalancing and out the door (I had no appointment and had to get to work). The vibration persisted, so I brought my car in the following morning. Jordan also discovered that the wrong part had been used to secure my tire to the wheels and called around to get the right part installed, which they did that day. At that point the original tires I ordered were in, so I had them put those tires on, hoping it would help solve the problem. It didn't. So, Jordan agreed to stay late so I could come back and he'd unmount and remount everything from scratch, rebalance, and try different lug bolts. The store closes at 6, Jordan waited until I was done with work at 7 and then worked on my car and went with me for a test drive. The vibration might still have been there, but was barely noticeable, and might just be the difference between summer speed tires and winter tires. Overall, I was satisfied. I dropped Jordan off back at the store at 8:30--he stayed two and half hours late just for me.Two things stand out. First, of course, it shouldn't happen that anyone should have to go back four times to get their tires mounted correctly. This has never happened in the many many times I've been there before. If this had been the extent of my experience, I would not be giving the store five stars. Second, no matter where you go, sometimes unexpected stuff happens. And in this case, when stuff happened, Jordan stepped up in a huge way, took over, and went way above and beyond what anyone would expect and then dealt with the situation himself to correct the problem. I hope management at Discount Tires recognizes the dedication they have with Jordan. He deserves their attention (and no, I don't know him). Thanks Jordan!

Jocelyn was amazing. I was going out of town for the holidays and had a leaky tire. Called and she fit me in and had everything ready when I walked in the door. I work in customer service and really appreciate how she went above and beyond.
