You want to be comfortable bringing your pet in regardless if it is for a routine checkup or something more serious and that is why Bush Lake Pet Hospital is the place to go to. We are very thankful for all the time and effort they have spent with Squirrel so that she can continue to give us this attitude

As a first-time visitor, I had a great experience here with my cat! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and they went above and beyond to get ahold of my cat's previous medical records when I wasn't able to provide them. During the exam I felt very comfortable with the conversation, and I felt that my cat was physically handled with a great deal of care and expertise - Dr. Gates located my cat's mystery leg injury in minutes, frankly it was awesome to watch! Overall it was easy to get extremely good care here, and I'd like to take advantage of more services in the future.

Thank you Dr Gates for taking care of our pet cat that was a stray we had for only 2 months named Otter. We will be back to this clinic with our other pets as well.

I brought my cat in for his annual check up and vaccinations. The staff was very friendly, showed obvious care for my cat and answered the various questions I had about his health. Wonderful staff and I will be sure to be following them to their new location! Enjoy your multiple exam rooms, you've all earned them!

Absolutely phenomenal vet for reptiles and exotics. Couldn’t be happier with my visit and would suggest you give them a try.
Dr. Gates was extremely kind and understanding of all the nuances in my particular situation. He was also, worth the mention, very VERY knowledgeable. He listened well, was great with handling (my crested gecko) and did a thorough examination that I did NOT feel was reflected in my price. When I got the total I was SHOCKED and I almost wanted to overpay it was just that great of an experience.
Regardless of what happens to my pet I will feel at peace knowing this team did, genuinely, all they could to help.
Seriously one of the best pet hospitals I’ve been to in the Twin Cities and hands down the best when it comes to reptiles and exotics. Don’t look them over.. you’ll regret it!

Dr Gates takes a lot of time with you and your pet. He answers all of your questions and truly seems to care. Everyone in the clinic is very friendly and caring.

I just got out here from KY and was SO nervous finding a new reptile vet but this place is amazing. The welcoming staff rlly helped calm my anxieties thru it and my leopard gecko, Doobie, is feeling much better!

I’m a deaf customer. I have my son’s lizard. I brought his lizard to the Bush Lake Pet Hospital. I’m impressed with the veterinarian who teaches and explains how to care for his lizard. The main veterinarian was patient and respectful to me for my communication access while writing the notepad. I’m very satisfied with my understanding of how to care for my son’s lizard.

Dr Gates and his staff were amazing. My feisty older male cat was taken care of with ease. Best of all, everything was explained to me and no one tried to push me into paying for expensive tests or procedures (unlike another vet clinic in Bloomington).
I highly recommend and will be back, even for just a nail trim.

My dog got a nasty gash on his leg that needed immediate attention. They agreed to see him with only an hour left until closing. Even though he had never been seen there before. They cleaned his wound and gave him stitches and a cone. Pain pills and antibiotics to take home. They all stayed 40 minutes past closing so we wouldn't have to come back the next day and leave the wound open over night. I highly recommend this Pet hospital and their affiliate France Avenue Pet Hospital.
