Rented suv for a week back in july at their closing time after left i noticed a chip in the windshield and deffect seat belt on rear passenger my wife called thier customer service to report we were told you are not reliable since u just rented and was given an option to exchange it at msp airport and given a claim number when return the vehicle again we told the counter clerk about the windshield crack and had chip when rented and provided the report number after four weeks my credit card was charged 661$ called the same customer service number and was told the charge is valid cuz you didnt go to the airport to exchange . U do what you think is right now a days could cost you and blaimed for it

The worst place I ever rent a box truck. I rent last Friday and the next day needs maintenance. The battery looks old even the technician got hard time to fixed. How to rent a box truck with that condition? I don’t know if the other location is the same but be aware guys. Don’t ever trust this location…

AARP made for a decent discount-that’s the 1 ⭐️ (review takes place May-June ‘23) Avoid this location and budget at all costs. Go with TURO (less stress and the app makes it accessible to your host & vehicle, no stupid overpriced companies like budget)Phone convo I had a month earlier while booking was much different than in person. Do not trust either conversation ?? they charge $65 for an additional driver and then bc they close at 6pm ? you get charged to drop off at the airport.*Again, i experienced Conflicting information from the initial phone convo & in person pickup bc of online issues (it wouldn’t let me book airport drop off location which is free according to website)Too many online booking issues with their website. Online: Chose the KIA Sol option and it was not what was available upon pickup, instead it was a small ford focus (that’s not remotely close to the vehicle size rental I had booked)As I was walking out to leave with the vehicle , I inspected a few dents, it was not thoroughly washed, the hood was popped open and of course, no one came outside to do the initial inspection.There needs to be an inspection btw customer and employee to note the condition of the vehicle before leaving the lot to avoid charges upon return. DUH!The employee who came out to inspect the vehicle was absolutely rude! He disagreed with me on the filth of the vehicle and kept interrupting me repeatedly in a condescending tone: “do you want another car? Should I go tell the man you want another car?!” Referencing the employee ‘the man’ working inside the office.We did get another available vehicle, a VW suv that worked out fine. I would recommend to do TURO app , it’s like an air bnb for vehicles. You deal with hosts and not companies like Budget.

My family set up a rental car with this Budget location, we were given a set rate for our time range of lower than $800. We ended up having the flexibility of returning the car 5 days earlier than we intended with our original contract, so we wanted to see if we could return it and pay a lower total cost. We called Budget and spoke with them about an early return and the man on the phone today assured us that returning our car earlier would be cheaper. After returning our car almost one whole week early, this Budget location attempted to charge us more than an extra $100. If we would have initially known that would occur, we never would have returned it in the first place. I recommend getting a rental car with a different, more reputable and reliable company. Sleazy customer service at this location.

We ended up renting a budget truck here after having one of the worst experiences at the Burnsville, MN location. This location was able to get us into a rental truck and provided a discount due to the other locations poor service. I would 100 PERCENT recommend this location. Staff was super friendly and helpful

This company is complete trash!!! I get a call from Budget not even a day and a half before we're supposed to move from Minnesota to Wisconsin to tell me that the truck I reserved 2 weeks prior isn't available!! What?!? I asked the guy who called me to help me find another truck and he told me to call customer service. Really?! I called customer service and they said all they could do is make a request to the Inventory Manager. Seriously?! The inventory manager named Sergio was beyond unprofessional and insulting and when I asked for his employee number he canceled my reservation without my authorization and pretty much told me to go figure it out. Called numerous times before being connected to a supervisor who justified the actions of the inventory manager!!! Not one person I spoke to even tried to help me with the issue. Disgusting people that work for Budget. Disgusting customer service!!! Disgusting company!!!

The car itself was good. The customer service at TPA was fine, however he was not accurate on charges. Said the pre-pay fuel would be $50 (it was $63). Put something else on (SLI) that I did not agree to.While on vacation we had a medical issue and had to change our flight to RSW as it was closer to the hospital. The airlines gladly accommodated us, but your CS Agents were pretty rude. In the end they charge us MORE than the initial fee to return the car to to RSW. I didn't have a choice at this point.Very disappointing - I understand a change fee, that is consistent across all lines of business. But to charge an exorbitant amount when we are in a tough situation, that is horrible. Because of this you will not have me as a customer in the future. .

How to have a successful rental experience: 1) Check the outside and inside of the car before you leave. Bring up any scratches/dings/dents/etc. 2) Do not extend your rental otherwise Budget will charge you hidden fees above the going rate. 3) Make sure your CC blocks fraudulent activity and covers car rental damage. 4) Avoid Budget rental.

Ok, so there was one guy working 4 companies...not a great start. He very pleasantly announced options each time a new person enyered the line. We had no trouble getting the car we had reserved, but did wait in line behind 2 people for 20 mimutes.Leaving the parking area, however, was a problem. There is one exit. It was unmanned, and we had to get out of the car to find someone to let us out. That person was less than friendly, approaching downright rude, and barely looked over the car. Oh, and it took 15 minutes to leave the parking lot.Upon leaving the lot, we noticed used face masks in the backseat hangers and a smell of smoke in the vehicle.All I can say is we better not get charged more than we paid.There is an excellent chance we will never use Budget again!

Everything in the place kept crushing. The computers went down they had to reboot them. Then the printer went out they couldn't even print are contract . On top of that the car wasn't clean and the tank wasn't on full
