Staff were so friendly! I was asked multiple times while shopping if I was finding everything alright, and the cashier chatted to me about my book I was buying! Clean and organized store :) amazing selection!

Well when I looked online, Barnes & Noble's stated that my book was at the store in stock.
The employee was helpful trying to find it. I just wished I didn't go through the trouble of going over there and parking and trying to find something that wasn't there.
The store is in a convenient location. But very mediocre.

Mall of America location. Won’t be visiting any Barnes & Noble store in the future. Why buy over priced books when you can get them at the well endowed Hennepin County library system for free. The employees at B & N know nothing about history, for example. They only want to push selling and not consider your ideas, particularly if you, the customer, is a trained historian. All employees at B & N locations are wannabes, who never finished college, let alone a graduate degree. And, they really get offended when told, “I can wait for my turn to come up at the library.” Used bookstores are the way to go with a much better selection. Half-Priced Books is a much better venue.

i love the shop for books and gifts, but the starbucks is incredibly slow. there are never more than two employees who are always chatting with each other too much to be able to make orders efficiently. i watched someone wait 5+ minutes for some whipped cream

I can say that I never write reviews, but today I went to the cafe in the Barnes and Nobel and was feeling dehydrated and light headed. I asked for a venti iced water and was told that they could only offer small cups of water. I suffer from pretty severe social anxiety and struggled to ask for it in the first place. I asked if I could pay for an Iced coffee and get a cup with only ice and also was denied. I understand that the worker is following store protocols and doing their job, but I truly do not understand if I am willing to pay for an iced coffee for the cup why you would continually deny a person that option. I could stand and drink the water from a small cup but again the anxiety prevents me from doing such. It is disappointing when I enjoy and like Barnes and Nobel so much.

A great place to find something to read or grab a coffee in the mall! It is a pretty typical Barnes& Noble, but is a nice break from the mall if you need to get away and relax. Lots to see and lost to shop.

Mostly political and anti-White, and American books. I was simply looking for Edward Gibbon's The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire in the three part Penguin Edition. I own them already, but they are at my home in Great Briton. Instead, I find all of this nonsense, Woke political screed stuff in every section. On top of that there are several sections devoted to black this and that type stuff. You know, rap, gangsta culture and graffiti and even black voices or literature whatever . Junkie store. I will buy online from publishing companies DIRECTLY before I buy anything at Barnes and Noble. Get Woke, Go Broke. Good luck with your "New Readers". ? ? ? ?

My child loves this store and no stop at MOA is complete without a stop here. This visit we had a few books we were specifically looking for. The associate who helped us was very knowledgeable and friendly. She quickly helped us find what we were looking for. This location is very large and has a tremendous amount of variety. The sale sections are also plentiful, easy to find a new read/game/song/movie. The children's section is very welcoming and full of great selections for young readers. All staff I have ever encountered here has been pleasant and helpful. It's always busy but, they keep the line moving quickly. We will always return because, books rule!

Lots of not only books, but a lot of great potential gifts like decor, cards, games. Also features a large multimedia section a coffee shop with seating

Busy. I wonder why libraries aren't as busy as bookstores. Then a little later do they go home and immediately start reading what they bought?
