Very happy with my experience at SS Motors. I bought a 2010 Toyota Camry Hybrid from SS Motors earlier this year! I am very appreciative of them and their business. Had one small issue right after purchase, gave them a call and they took care of it right away! I will buy all of my vehicles from them and have them serviced there! Thank you Darrell and team!

What a nightmare!! Totally sold a lemon! My husband and I inspected the engine and wheel thoroughly for rust on the 2012 Subaru Outback, but didn't use a creeper to look underneath at the frame. After purchasing it and having problem after problem with exhaust system and brakes, we find out the FRAME is WELDED TOGETHER!! This is pretty much illegal! Obviously sold as is so the ethics of a business willing to sell a vehicle with frame damage is unbelievable! The carfax report said no accidents so I did my homework and the reviews online were very complimentary of the business it's self, but I was sold a piece of junk. It wasn't even a great price or anything! VERY disappointed that SS Motors would sell someone such a damaged vehicle!

Bought a VW van from them today. Everyone we talked/worked with were amazing! Friendly guys and girls all around. Just a business trying to help people with their cars and find a good car that fits them. Thanks guys for the van and the laughs!!

SS Motors rocks. I found my new car dealer. Many thanks to Darrel and Tony for making the process so easy. I bought a 12 Escape and had a couple quirks and they fixed it free of charge very timely. I referred my friend as well for service work and he was 100% satisfied as well. I look forward to future purchases and referring as well.

I’ve taken my vehicles to S&S for years for body work repairs …. First class all the way! When I’m in the market for another vehicle, my first stop will be S&S!

SS Motors lost a customer and a sale today because of one of their salesmen was so rude that I just had to just walk away. Before going any further into this review, I do have to say that whoever does their acquisitions does a good job of finding rust-free auction vehicles. That is why I went there in the first place. I went to check out a clean-title 2012 VW Passat with 57K miles for $10,000.
However, after closer inspection, all four tires were dry rotted/cracked, and the heater didn't work. SS Motors links the Carfax report on their website, so I looked at it, and it showed that the car was on its third heater core (that's insane for a 57K-mile car). I tested it, and it didn't work. So, I went inside and told the salesman. Well, the salesman acted like he didn't believe me and then lied.
"No way," he said. "It worked for me earlier today."
So, we went out to the car, and sure enough—cold air when it is set to heat.
He said, "I think that I'm starting to feel heat" and "sometimes this time of year it takes a little longer."
I said, "Dude, are you serious? It's cold."
We got out of the car, and he said, "I feel like you're a cynical person. I don't think this car is for you."
I just shrugged off the personal attack and said, "I'm just pointing out that the tires are dry rotted and the heater core doesn't work."
I was going to negotiate these issues into the asking price and buy the car. However, the salesman clearly wanted to sell this car to someone who doesn't notice these things. After all, who checks the heater in the spring/summer?
Beware of places like this.
*Also, I just went back on their website, and they raised the price of the car lol. Somehow I doubt that they fixed the heater core or replaced the tires.
- In response to Darrell's response:
I was smirking at you because you told me that the heater was working for you earlier that day. The probability that it actually was working earlier that day and then just stopped when I was there is so low that it was (and is) hilarious. It was obviously a lie. You also obviously didn't even know that the tires were dry rotted/cracked until I brought it up. These things are funny because car salesmen usually know more about the car that they're selling than the customer does. I don't know how to break this down further, but it's called irony.
The only thing that the video shows is that you lied to a customer, called a customer a "cynical person," and that the customer (me) walked away and showed some self control. I can see by our interaction and your responses to other reviewers that you prefer not to take the high road. Good luck with that.

SS Motors was a great, well rounded experience. All of the staff members were respectful, helpful, and genuine! They do the best they can at helping you find a car that you fall in love with and genuinely love! 10/10 I will be back!

I bought 3 cars in three years here. 2010 Lincoln MKZ, 2005 MB E500, 2012 Ford Escape XLT. All well priced, well appointed.
Lincoln was well priced, 45k miles, all the doo-dads, AWD, zero rust. Fun to drive.
The MB needed brake work and seal replacements. The low price, only 70K miles, bulletproof engine, 0-60 under 6, factory limited to 130 mph, 4matic, and airmatics well made up for the extra money put into it replacing rear airmatics, fixing brake calipers, new tires, some sensors. Is rust free exterior and for the year, well maintained leather-carpet interior. It's a good DYI project and a MB so everything is expensive to fix and replace. Don't buy a German car used if you are looking to save money, IMO.
Pulling the bubbled window tint was a pain, but it did come off.
The Ford Escape is full appointed with all the trimmings. NO body rust, some under-body PTU corrosion. 102K miles, low price. I had been shopping for this model/year on FB marketplace for 2 months, plenty of options but most mileage price ratio was imbalanced high. This was a good buy as with regular transmission/transfer case/differential fluid changes non-hybrid models without the internal water pump can last well past 200K miles.
Always drive a used car over to Autozone or ORielly's and borrow a OBD scanner if any doubts.
I detailed each vehicle's interior leather with olive oil/vinegar mix, clay bar, wax and ceramic the exterior and they look awesome.
Love these guys.

I didn't end up getting a car from SS Motors but I really liked meeting the team and had a great experience car shopping there. Everyone had a great attitude and I didn't feel the pressure to buy something on the spot like I've felt from most car dealers. I would recommend them to a friend. Thanks SS Motors!

Fantastic dealership and even better people. I worked with Darrel who was straight to the point while also being very understanding and helpful. They stand by their used vehicles which means a ton in that they only sell what they know is good! Best vehicle experience I’ve had in a very long time, I can’t recommend Darrel and the team enough!
