Showed the teller the IRA opened from TCF, the guy kept asking if that was here meaning Huntington lol I said yes and he responded but the doc showed TCF 🤣

If I could give zero stars I would. I’ve tried to go to this location on three different occasions to open a joint checking account with my husband and every single time. I’ve been told we don’t have a banker available to help you right now you’ll have to make an appointment in the future. My husband works till five every day and these hours we have time on Saturdays, but we’re told the banker doesn’t work on Saturdays. My husband has his business account through them with over 6 figures in the checking account and we can’t get someone to handle a walk on appointment when we can see the banker sitting there at his desk. We also constantly see advertising for $600 back if you open a checking account and are literally trying to hand you’ll business and you want nothing to do with it. The service is absolutely horrendous. We were there at 4:15 today, waiting 30 minutes in line to ask to open and account to be told make an appointment. Any true bank manager I hope be willing to stay 15 extra minutes to open an account for a new customer when that customer had to wait in like for THIRTY minutes just to even ask to see someone. We will be moving my husbands business account. Absolute joke of a customer service model.

Unfortunately the reason for my visit to this location today was to close my checking account. Other Huntington locations have not been very impressive recently (and Huntington is not my primary bank). The teller got me in and out quickly and she was very kind & friendly, almost made me second guess my decision to part ways! I saw some low reviews for this location and thought I’d leave a positive one!

Tried to do a withdrawal and apparently the old lady said I can't take out more than 1 bill of each. Never heard of this before.

Pang was very helpful and fun to talk with! She explained all of my options in terms of CD’s. She offered services to speak with financial advisors. She was very fast and seamless when it came to completing my deposit and issuing a bank card. 5/5! Thank you Pang!

I tried to open another account online, and it didn’t work as planned. I stopped here, and in about 15 minutes, they had it all straightened out. Great experience!

If I could put zero stars I would. Walked in to get a joint checking account with my wife, we already have individual accounts so it would have been a breeze. One guy working at the counter that doesn't even work at that location, had to check with two ladies chatting in the back how they do appointments. They told him "we don't take appointments right now" (meanwhile there's a couple sitting down with somebody in a side room in what I assume was an appointment). He came back to me and said "honestly you should go online or try any other huntington branch than this one". Weirdest experience I've ever had and I think this location needs to be shut down. I thought they just closed down a bunch of huntington branches in Minnesota, no clue why this one is open. Definitely switching banks after this experience. Wild.

Teller mislead me to opening another checking account. And it caused a red flag. And now I have closed checking account on record.

Getting better, drive thru is slower than heck. I am liking some of their policies though. I keep an account just for spending with my card so that I can only be out a hundred or two if it's stolen. If I forget to move money over and the account goes negative, I have 24 hours to refill the account before it's fined. Pretty unique for a bank.

Probably one of the most incompetent organizations I have seen. My account was transferred here after they bought TCF Bank (which had its own issues but was functional). Nightmare to transfer my money out of my Huntington account. After months of going there in person and multiple dropped calls they are still unable to find the documents I submitted and unlock my account for transfer (which other banks do over a period of a couple of days). Finally I have decided to close this account - there are SO many better banks and credit unions out there. I found this place to be a colossal waste of time.

I would consider switching managers, she cares only about money, she doesn't care about customers charging fees from a person that passed away 2 months ago. She tried to blame it on company rules but I heard that it all depends on her decision. Don't go here.

In the translation from TCF to Huntington, an online mortgage payment was denied along with a license tab renewal. Both situations created issues that have not been simple to resolve.
