Before Covid hit I was a very loyal customer that went to Fitness First for massages at least once a month I normally would pre-pay my account and pre-pay for 90 minute massages ahead of time I had a prepaid 90 minute massage right before Covid hit I called Fitness First to have them honor my prepaid 90 minute massage and Zach who said he is a manager said their rates changed and refused to honor my prepaid 90 minute massage. Instead he said it will have to be 60minutes. No consideration for the fact that I have been a loyal customer for many years. That is no way to treat a paying loyal customer. I will not be going back there and I believe Zach was comfortable not honoring their side of the commitment and losing a loyal customer. Shame on Zach and his customer service skills. I will not be going back there ever again and will be taking all the friends I referred along with me! Bye Fitness 1st! What a shame on not honoring your own commitment.

This was a REAL hot stone massage! I am in physical therapy for my back and neck and have been struggling to get the muscles to release enough for the therapy to work. I was referred here from someone else. I normally don't see men, but decided to take a chance sine the time slot was perfect. So glad I did. Hedley was amazing. He uses the hot stones to massage you instead of just laying them on your back in a pretty line. The technique was amazing. Hands down one of the best massages I've ever had. I highly recommend Hedley.

To get it out of the way this place has been great in the past and Julie B is a fantastic massage therapist but with COVID shutting down Fitness 1st last year apparently their prices have been adjusted since they reopened, which is absolutely understandable. My concern is that I had purchased a 90 minute massage in advance a few years back and now they will only honor the monetary amount instead of honoring the 90 minute massage. The business should provide services for something that was purchased in advance instead providing a dollar for dollar credit. I would never have purchased that massage in advance if I had known that. There is no point in doing such a thing. It is unfortunate the owner decided to take this route as it is a bad business practice. The gentleman on the phone explained that is what the owner decided on and that is what they are sticking with. I requested a refund to my card instead. I will definitely miss this place and Julie's exceptional massages.I'm sorry you've had to adjust for COVID related issues but at the same time you need to honor past purchases.

There has been zero communication from this company on the opening of their business. They continue to falsely keep their calendar open and allow people to schedule. There is zero way to contact this company, and it appears as though if you have paid $$ towards something pre-covid you are not going to be able to use that or recoup your dollars. Highly unprofessional and seems like some sketchy business practices. The care from the owners just is not there. Honesty is usually the best policy, even if there are bumps in the road.**update**To make sure that we are clear here, the website no longer existed-it stated the link is broken and not recognized. The booking IS open on MindBody and I had appointments booked and just recently this Monday received a notification that I had an appointment, of which I clearly did not. In fact, I had appointments scheduled through the end of August. Just recently(this week), you have shut down the MindBody site for bookings. I have called numerous times and no one has contacted me. You say there was an email out in June 17 that I opened-It is now two months later-- I responded to the email, and never got a response back. I don't feel as though I should have to correspond on social media to gain a clear understanding of what is occuring at a place of business. I think that we can all agree that safety is important. I believe that the folks that service your clients have the greatest ability to understand how to remain vigilant during the imprecise reporting that we are experiencing as a whole.Lastly, I wasn't aiming at you(whomever that might be) to be confrontational via WWW, but that is fine and I do not mind. What I was aiming for is correspondence, and this clearly got your attention. Since you have my contact information as you stated, it might be best to just go ahead and use that information to contact me via email or perhaps telephone. I appreciate your response, I do not appreciate the manner of which you approached this and have left your clients wondering. I think that "no bumps here" is a un lofty way of describing how actual business runs, without bumps, no growth occurs. Errors happen, but open communication is best.Have a great day.

Julie B is great and their prices are better than most places. I have had several issues with the front desk staff though.

Been there twice. First time, the male therapist stepped out a few times to text someone. He also reeked like cigarette smoke and coffee, highly unprofessional. Second time, kept asking for more pressure and it just felt like a cat walking on my back. Then on the way out, tried charging me extra. PLEASE save your money and time!!!!

I try to go once or twice a year. I always use Julie B. now. I strongly suggest the 90 minute massage. You'll not regret the extra 30 minutes Julie is a level 2 upgrade. Be aware there is an up charge for a level 2 and another up charge if you want a level 3. I have but tried a level 3 yet. They have hot stone massage as well. I tried once and It just wasn't my thing but many love it. I just prefer a deep tissue massage.

1. You have to pay tax on top of your Groupon which isn't a huge deal just a few more bucks. 2. Another $5-10/per half an hour up charge for a level 2 or level 3 therapist if you want a GOOD massage. 3. Front desk is usually a young clueless college student working that can only response with "I don't know" on every darn question asked. 4. Manager is never in sight!!! If you have a concern you're pretty much screwed. 5. Make sure you call to confirm your appt a day ahead! I scheduled 2 appts for my husband and I last year and when we arrived we were not in the system at all. All I got was a sorry by the front desk person. No manager was on site when I asked to speak to one. 6. If you're going to run late make sure you call and ask if your time is going to be shorten especially if you're going to be paying for the up-charge! I was running 10 mins late to my appt and called ahead to see if it was ok. The girl over the phone answered "yes no problem, come in." Once in the room and all ready to go, my therapist told me my massage will only be 45 mins instead of the whole 60 mins because the room is needed right after. She said she told the front desk to let me know over the phone but the front desk replied "I'm sure she will be ok with it." Ok?! You didn't bother letting me know over the phone and you assumed I was going to be ok with it? By the time I was done, it was a new guy working the front desk. I explained to him what happened and all I got was an "oh". I asked if I can speak to the manager, and of course there wasn't one again. I ended up paying the whole up charge fee and everything but I was definitely not happy with how they run things around there! The one star is for Kaylee and Pan. They are amazing!!! And I wish they were working somewhere else more professional!

Two cancels in two weeks from their massage therapists (Jeremy and a female who was pregnant). One at least gave us a two hour warning but the other cancelled by phone as my fiancé was sitting in their lobby (on our wedding day). Great deals on massages if you pre-pay but not worth the headache of scheduling and then being cancelled on. Have used Steve on multiple occasions and he is great at his job - sorry we won't be back but I just won't support this business any longer.
