Did a walk-in for my Covid and flu booster and it was really fast! There were a lot of people waiting but was told “ I would be called back in about 10 minutes.” Very nice staff.

I was at this pharmacy during the lunch hour for my winter vaccines. I got fast friendly service! I was told that they have made staffing changes. This pharmacy is close to my job. I have been shopping here for 18 years. Always with great service! Don't let those old bad reviews keep you away. It is a great pharmacy!

The low reviews make sense
So the Cub Pharmacy in Blaine was selected to be the final step in a carefully planned process to get some medication to a patient in a very difficult situation. These medications were desperately needed to provided a patient in excruciating pain some much needed relief. All of the other medical staff and payment advisors involved in this carefully crafted process chain had work hard and got things done to a point where all that needed to happen was to put some medications in some bottles and make them ready for pick up… that’s it!
But what did the Blaine Cub Pharmacy do? They screwed up the whole process in 8 hours. Yes… they had 8 hours to put pills in bottles. They were called numerous times throughout the day to ensure they had all of the information they needed to just put the pills in bottles.
They sat on this step for 7 and a half hours and only then (at the very last moment before they closed) determined that they actually did NOT have everything they needed. At that point, all of the offices and medical staff in the process chain had closed. So all of the efforts by numerous agencies and staff to get the situation resolved were completed fumbled at the very last moment by the staff at the Cub Pharmacy in Blaine.
And when I came to pick up the medications right before that closed? They didn’t really even care that they screwed up so badly. They blamed in on their phone system… not the fact that they did nothing for 7 and a half hours. It was the phone system that messed up this carefully crafted plan.
Now the patient has to unnecessarily wait for another 24 hours in agony, and the staff at the Cub Pharmacy in Blaine will just shrug their shoulders and move on.
I can’t imagine that too many customers out there can depend on this pharmacy for much more than vitamins and laxatives. With so many other choices in the area, it will be easy to never count on the Cub Pharmacy in Blaine with anything beyond cotton balls for an art project.

I don't usually write reviews but the way I was treated today by the tech Rachel and the pharmacist Samantha was really unfortunate. I went to the drive through and pressed the call button. No answer for 5 minutes. So naturally I pressed the call button again because I had no idea if someone heard my call. A simple "I will be with you asap" or a sign on the window saying "we heard your call; we'll be with you shortly" would have gone a LONG way. Instead, she threw her hands up at me in frustration. I work in medical, and I understand what it's like to work short staffed and deal with rude patients all day, but it's not an excuse to treat people that way. Rachel continued to have an attitude the entire conversation, claimed she was just waving at me, was very passive aggressive and scolded me as if I purposely did something against her. I'm not stupid, I know the difference between a wave and a "f-off I'm busy" hand motion. Then was told the pharmacist would be 15 minutes because she was on break, and I agreed to wait as I needed instructions. The pharmacist Samantha comes to the window and first thing she says is "I am entitled to a 30-minute break by law but I can help you" and I said, "that's ok I said I could wait the 15 minutes, I didn't ask you to interrupt your break." I'm really not sure what she was expecting since I was told she legally had to talk to me before leaving. I will admit I did not remain as calm as I'd have liked, but I think if you're going to treat people like they've done something wrong when they haven't just because you're having a bad day, you're going to keep getting these reactions. Maybe it was a big misunderstanding, but the attitude and scolding was unwarranted, when all I did was press a button... this could have been handled with more tact and professionalism and there would have been no issue. I feel sorry that they are that stressed but my perception is that this pharmacy is not being managed properly, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone including patients.

Why are pharmacists so rude! Empathy is clearly a thing of the past. I was treated like scum when I arrived to try to pick up a RX for my daughter. Nothing serious but something she needed. He belittled me and made me out to be a liar. I was dropped to tears after trying to work with him. A few days later I got a text that my RX was ready. I drove back to the store to find the same man working.. there was an elderly man at the counter and the pharmacist was so rude to him! Then he told me that I needed a PA for my RX. I asked what that was and he said “your clinic would know, call them” and walked away. This was my first attempt at using the Cub Pharmacy and it is my last. I highly recommend looking else where for your medication needs!

When I needed to get a much needed mental health med for my son on a medication that was out of stock for a while (national shortage) the were guaranteed that it would be in. Nobody could guarantee when the specific dose would be in. And kept trying to get the med inYelled at me. And was very rude. I held out for my family as long as I could (because of Jerry as well)

I've been using this location for over 15 years without any complaints. The woman I spoke with on the phone yesterday was so unfriendly and snide. If it wasn't for Jerry and a couple other friendly faces there I'd take my business elsewhere.

They sell the BEST ganache chocolate cake here! I went in today looking for one for Father’s Day and they were all out. The very thoughtful woman working in the bakery offered to make me one to pick up later in the day. I went back a few hours later and it was PERFECTLY made and delicious. Outstanding customer service. Thank you so much!

Went shopping at around 1am on June 7th 2022, there was one lady working the checkout which was not a problem because there wasn't many people in the store. I go up to checkout my food with her and I politely say "Hello, how's your night going?", she looks up at me and doesn't say a word, I don't say anything back. As I was leaving and she handed me my change I said, "Thanks, I hope you have a great night". Again, she says absolutely nothing and there is no way she didn't hear me both times. I understand working the night shift might suck sometimes but for you to have a complete lack of customer service skills when you are on the clock checking customers out at a grocery store it is ridiculous and you shouldn't be working a customer service job. I could've sworn Cub employees had name tags but I did not see one of her, maybe she wasn't wearing one because she is aware of her lack of care towards the work she does.

After being a customer at another pharmacy for many years, the service there had become unbearably bad so I tried Cub. The Cub pharmacy is always well stocked, wait times are short and the people are helpful and patient. I can always get what I need when I use this pharmacy. I have switched all my prescriptions over.

Most of time I see Mark or Geri and always get professional, friendly, caring, and knowledgeable help. Not only do I get my prescriptions here but also my Flu, COVID, Shingles, and Pneumonia shots. Very convenient. Thanks for the GREAT Care and Service!

Best customer service I’ve ever experienced at a pharmacy. There’s always a friendly staff member willing to help in any way they can and I have never had a negative encounter. I have had especially great customer service from the manager who goes out of his way to provide extra counseling on new medications and answer any questions within his scope of practice. I see some others writing negative reviews, but there are laws the Pharmacists have to abide by and of course just like any other store, you have to wait your turn so if you show up at a busy time you might have to wait a little longer, but that is to be expected! Would highly recommend this pharmacy!
