Great experience with my 2 year old boy! The lady was SO NICE to him and got the job done fast. She clearly knew how to work with kids and I couldn't of asked for a better experience! I will be going back :)

Haircut was fine - about what I would expect for a $20 kids haircut. The scissors she used seemed dull when she was cutting, but overall, I'm not mad about the results. My major complaint is regarding the professionalism of the staff. I couldn't believe the manner in which the hairdresser spoke to my daughter. My daughter had a small cough so she gave her a sucker to suck on in hopes that that would keep her occupied and her cough at bay during the cut. The hairdresser and I had to remind my daughter multiple times to keep her head still. My daughter is 6yo and it was 430pm - I think a little fidgeting is normal and to be expected. But one point, the hairdresser yanked the sucker out of my daughter's mouth and said "you'll get this back if you sit still." There was a toddler in the booth next to us and my daughter turned to look at him. The hairdresser redirected her to look straight, took the sucker from her, and asked "did you move your head?!" I could tell she was trying to be funny, but daughter was clearly embarrassed and shyly nodded her head. Then, the lady said "I want to hear you say it" forcing my daughter to verbally say "yes" before she gave the sucker back. It was clearly some sort of power trip for this women to make my daughter feel ashamed about not being able to sit still. I could not believe she was speaking to her like that. It was unprofessional and inappropriate. I did all I could do was encourage my kid to sit still so we could get out of there as fast as possible. I didn't get the stylist's name, but she had black hair, shoulder length hair and glasses. Parents - it's worth the drive to find another location or go to Kids Hair, where they actually know how to manage a child in their chair. Especially if your kid is, you know, a kid. If they aren't statuesque, go somewhere else.

My haircut is perfect. I need to do use my curling iron to style the top and I'm ready to go. The stylist did a great job of blending in the layers.
Stylist: She did a terrific job of taking my over grown style to a smart modern look.

Cortney cut my dad's hair today and she was great, I rate her 5 stars! The rest of the stylists here are non social and rude. They can't even smile, they just stare at you like you are an inconvenience to their day. They make the environment very uncomfortable, and act like they're miserable and want to be anywhere but where they are. I will not bring my business here for sure. If it wasn't for Cortney I'd give this place a one star only review.

Paula wouldn't socialize. Cutting my hair shorter than I asked for. Very few cuts with her scissors. Making a VERY BLUNT BOB. NO LAYERS when I asked for body. I'M NOT HAPPY.
Requested style: I requested layered bob.

Had my first visit to Great Clips in Big Lake and I am so pleased with the cut Jennifer did. she did exactly as I requested with my thinning hair. I will definitely be going there again.
