The service and staff with this place is very friendly. I wish their prices had not increased due to inflation. But overall the best place for your dogs to stay in the general area.

So grateful for Dog House inn; the Boy's (Pike and Timber) enjoy the doggy daycare when they are boarded which makes their stay significantly less stressful. We most recently had a bad experience with another Daycare facility in Nisswa (this was a trial for a long weekend we had planned and wanted to test them out prior to boarding them) THANK GOODNESS WE DID! We quickly determine the 1 hour drive in the other direction to Dog house Inn was well worth it for quality care (They also squeezed us in last minute). They are passionate about providing quality care, safety measures and follow through on what they advertise. You dog is in good care here but more importantly they have FUN when there!

I'm at peace leaving our little maltipoo here. Our first stay was for 3 days and then we tried another 3 days. The family owners are so friendly and reassuring. They show care and answer all questions (even the over protective ones). Facility is clean and feels like a home more than an office space. Feels warm & welcoming. They take an actual interest in your fur baby. I didn't feel like my fur baby was just boarding - he was being taken care of.Our last stay was much longer - 2 weeks. We were on vacation and then returned home sick and needed him to stay a little longer. In all of the time our fur baby has been with us (he's a rescue and very timid) he has never walked willingly into a dog lodge without hesitancy. But when I dropped him off, we was wagging his tail and happy to see Chris. He's never done that before. I was so at peace that I forgot to call the first few nights to check in. I always call the first night but I actually forgot! I finally called on day 4 or 5 and of course he was great and being loved on.Highly recommend. Your fur baby isn't just being kenneled. They are deeply cared for and treated like family.

We brought our dog Champ here ahead of our wedding weekend. The owners were extremely nice and welcoming to our little guy. He had a great stay and came back happy after tons of play time. We’ll definitely use them again should we ever need to board in the area. Thanks!

The Dog House was able to take my dog Penny, who is very afraid of new environments, and when I gave Mary a call to check on Penny she knew exactly what was happening with Penny. Penny fell right in love with her. Great home away from home for our loved ones ??

Amazing place for your dogs vacation. Beautiful facility and great people for your pet. Our big guy comes back relaxed and tired, in a great way. Unlike the yet our dog is excited to go to The Doghouse ?
