“On September 8 I was traveling from Canada on my way home to Iowa. I developed a grinding noise in my back wheel. The closest Chevy dealer was Dondelinger in Brainerd, MN. I was greeted by a nice receptionist who walked me back to a service advisor. I described my problem. He walked right out to my Malibu, and popped a rock out of my wheel! I was on my way in 5 minutes! Many thanks to the kind, caring staff and this dealership.”

“This is a shop that you will go to if you are struggling and you need a vehicle or if you’re just looking for a really nice daily driver. He has good cars from used to damn near new.
I have read some of the reviews. People are saying after three months the transmission went went out. You probably bought $1000 car or $3000 car and three months after buying it from a used person that’s pretty darn good.

More or less only because he’s so busy to the point where he needs to have maybe hire a receptionist? Because John and Alex never stop working. They have so much work going on. It’s best to go there in person or text him. That’s the only hangup he’s got.
Or a call center that will send him text messages Word for word.
John is a very busy man, but he does have a good business.
He does help many many many people He’s an equal opportunity person. My wife is Philippine and he treats her kindly!!
…and Mr Alex his son and is learning how to sell cars. And he has pretty much taken over the shop at a very young age. She’s very impressive.
He’s a pretty good kid sometimes I think he’s on his own trying to get stuff done. Alex is very good to work with
but yes, some of the vehicles do need work, but that’s your job to take a look at it and when you ask them a question(s) about what’s wrong with the vehicle they will tell you the honest’ truth that’s one thing about these guys. They may sell you something that needs repair but they have no problem telling you what’s wrong with the vehicle and they can actually fix it for you but they just don’t have time to get them all prepared because he keeps buying them too fast lol

John and Alex are not sneaky They will tell you how it is. Because they don’t want you having a bad experience. But if you don’t fix the things that are wrong with the car. That’s on you. I’m kind of responding because of all of these messages.
I knew this man his kids and his wife closely or personally in 2013 all the way until 2020. and when I was in the state
I was using his service is quite often for my heavy equipment my dump trucks my tow trucks my race car.
I wouldn’t say that they are the quickest but some days they are depends on their workload. But they get it done right with good parts.
Also every time I buy a trailer I usually go to him and I get tires installed. And when he tells you a price, that’s an installed price??
I just bought a 28,000 pound GVW gooseneck flatbed trailer for hauling my equipment right now. I’m painting it after that. I’m headed up to him to get simulators for my wheels and brand new tires. I won’t go anywhere else.
I shop around sometimes, but when I give him a call and talk to him I will EVER find the tires any cheaper PURCHASED INSTALLED BALANCED AND MOUNTED ON MY VEHICLE. I HAVE SIX TIRES

John, Has amazing prices on tires and all season or off-road tires. The prices are usually. unbeatable on Speeds LLC. tires that’s for sure.
So just use caution your head you’re buying from a salvage yard.
You’re buying a projects or vehicle
Otherwise, I just deal with Alex and get my tires taken care of. Alex is a great guy! He’s the manager and co-owner

“Helped me out in a pinch! My wife and I were driving through Bemidji when I noticed lots of clunking noises in the front end. Looked up a local shop and found Kilde's with lots of great reviews. Called and he said to drop by a bit after lunch. Car was up in the lift and diagnosed within minutes. Turns out the sway bar links I had installed a week prior weren't on tight enough. They snugged the nuts up and sent us on our way with no more clunking noises. He wouldn't even accept payment when I insisted! I would've been more than happy to pay and would come again if we're in the area. Highly recommend!”

They got us in the day after I called along with doing everything in their parameters to get us in, out and back in the road in one day. Figured saved our whole vacation. “We were on vacation in the Bemidji area and it was the day we were scheduled to drive home. Walked outside in the morning just to see my vehicle had a flat tire. I got the spare on the vehicle but somehow managed to break off one of the wheel studs in the process. Called Paddock and Sons hoping they could get me safely back on the road asap. Even though they were busy working on other vehicles, they replaced my broken wheel stud right away and did it for a reasonable price! I would definitely recommend them to others!”
“Thank you Frederick‘s Truck Repair!!! You guys saved my rear end. Broke down on a return trip from North Dakota to Michigan in the small Town of Cass lake, MN. Ended up in the parking lot of Stony Point RV Resort (Great People There). A friend of the owner referred me to Fredericks, though they were extremely busy they made the time to drive down and take a look at my truck. It’s an older Kenworth and has always been Plagued with fuel pump issues. Quickly came to conclusion that it was the accumulator side of the fuel pump. They were able to locate one in Fargo North Dakota and apparently had someone in the area to pick it up. This could’ve turned into a very long process, but they had me back on the road in just a couple of days. Truly appreciate your service and honesty. Taught me a couple things about my old motor I did not know. They deserve a couple extra stars for that. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“This the best used auto parts and aftermarket parts business out of the five or so in a 60 mile radius. Used batteries are worth the money when you absolutely need one as they come with warranty. Also they have a small section that they sell stuff they take out of scrap cars and save before crushing them. I myself would like to see that corner bigger possibly even take up most of the front room.”
