What a pleasant visit during my transition to the cities!! He was willing to go above and beyond to make sure my vehicle left safe to my standards and also made sure I am aware of everything that is going to be an issue in the future. He had quick, experienced advice that's came with a warm welcome and salute. Thanks, JD!!!

I can't exactly rate the service aspect when it comes to actual repair work, as no one has answered the phone or replied to my calls or text in the last week that I've attempted to set up an appointment.

He's a nice guy to work with. He let's you know up front with what needs to be done. It doesn't try to sell you something different. I have my vehicles taken to him all the time.

We were in town for the weekend and experiencing problems with our car. JD's Auto Service (Jon Dvorak) got our vehicle in on a Saturday and got us back on the road again. Grateful to JD's for working us in to their already busy schedule and for the top quality work that was done on our vehicle.I'm thinking about driving to Belle Plaine and JD's for all my auto repairs!?Thank you, thank you, thank you!!Service: Auto brake replacement

I have brought my vehicles to JD’s for all different problems on them. Each time JD was able to resolve the issues within a couple days. If something was taking longer then I was contacted and told what is going on. Very helpful and prices are reasonable.

Jd's auto is the place to bed for auto service! Last night my car died at kwik trip and I had no idea what was wrong with it. I went straight into panic mode. Thankfully we we're able to leave the car at the gas station over night. The next day we ran into JD while he was working in shop. We asked a few questions, and told him whats wrong. He said it was more than likely the driver fuel pump module. He went out of his way, called wolf motors and made sure they had one on stock. Luckily they did!!! We came back to the gas station, plugged the part in, and away we went! Thank you so mich!! I really appreciate it! We we're worried Because we also have a wedding to play for! Thanks again!

I stopped in awhile ago. And I run a roadside assistance company, and I was having a problem getting a tire off a truck. The gentleman that was working helped me out by lending some tools to help me. The gentleman was very helpful. They are very professional and nice company.

I’ve taken my vehicle to JD’s twice now.Once for break issues & he solved the issue with them no charge which was nice-I believe what my ex-friend said, was he couldn’t replicate the issues I was having.Of course that’s how it always works doesn’t it? You have an issue with something, call an expert & BAM, problem is gone. Now, I have an issue with my ignition. My keys won’t come out of the ignition; I’d have to wait five to ten minutes, & no, it’s not because the wheel is locked or the keys are dirty. We dropped my vehicle off & dropped my keys in the key drop box (which I don’t find assuring despite the keys going directly into the shop).Picked up my vehicle the next day & I may be crazy, but it looks like my shifter is different, which it is in a sense. Upon changing gears, I found something sharp poking me, almost cut me.You’ll see in the photos, there’s a misplaced/broken piece that’s sticking out of the shifter right where I’d grab to change gears. As efficient & helpful as JD’s is, I’d be nice to have been warned about this piece of prodding hard plastic that could have cut me.Forgetting about it today, on my way to the store I grabbed to change gears of course, & ouch.I give the establishment four & a half stars for efficiency, but three for lack of communication & to whom ever messed around with my radio-changing the channels. No no.As common courtesy for my auto tech, I turned my radio off so music wouldn’t blast at him/her upon turning my vehicle on.When I picked up my vehicle, the radio was on fairly loud & on a channel I know I’d never choose. In addition, the pillow I sit on was moved to the passenger seat & not returned to the driver’s seat. My tissue box was also placed in the back & not returned where it was found.Customers take their vehicles to shops to get fixed, not for their things to be moved around & not placed back the way found.I don’t know anything about being an auto tech, but I know a little something about customer service & common courtesy. If you move something in someone’s domain, you put it back. It’s a petty little thing that I’m picking on; I don’t even go into a retail store, pick up a shirt & toss it blatantly, I make an effort to fold it up the way I saw it.Update. A few days after getting my vehicle back, I opened my glove box. It’s one of those ones where you grab the “handle” from underneath & it clicks open easily. Now, this is the second time I opened it since dropping my vehicle off.The day I dropped it off I took my credit card out of my wallet & left the wallet in the glove box (nothing worth stealing besides some rewards cards & my fortune cookie fortunes).Forward to the few days later, I open up my glove box & upon the handle “clicking” open, the whole glove box just fell out. That’s right, detached from the car.I don’t know what’s going on & I don’t want to assume things, but how did it go from being attached & opening fine, to completely detaching, hanging by the cords?Update. The entire glove box has detached from the car. There’s a cylindrical piece that’s broken off & I come to find it’s a fairly essential piece in allowing the box to slowly open vs abruptly open.

They need to make sure they install ALL the bolts that belong installed. When replacing my steering gear, they did an alignment. during the process of the alignment they adjusted the ride height. They failed ti replace my lower shock absorber bolt, and one of the two bolts on my lower control arm was loose to the point of the nut almost falling off. This could have resulted in death or serious injury.
