Theresa did my hair today. I couldn't be more happy with her work. She took the time to listen,made me feel comfortable.
She was awesome. My hair is beautiful. She is now my girl... for sure.

I recently moved here and needed to reastablish my hair salon, I saw a lady at work who's hair was beautiful and asked her where she went She stated El Rio that's what I did. Threasa did my hair and eyebrows, Ive never been happiermore satisfied with either!!!

I had Miranda color my hair. I chose Miranda based off good reviews. It was my 1st time coloring my hair which I explained so that she could advise me good aftercare. My hair was beautiful for the very short time it lasted. I followed instructions to a T and within a week my coloring was nearly completely gone. I reached out to Miranda. I had hopes she would offer to fix it. Unfortunately she was rude and gave me my money back and told me to take my services elsewhere. I would not recommend Miranda to anyone. I'm so disheartened by how cold she was. That is bad business. I haven't colored my hair since because my experience has scared me permanently.

I used to like Maranda. I even sent friends her way. The last 3 times she did my hair though, I got hot roots. Each time I let her know and she was willing to fix it by coloring it again and then it was great. However, the last time it happened, she got irritated and said my Virgin hair was wierd and she didn't think the color line she used worked with my hair. Any other good colorist would know ahead of time to take into account for hotroots. She didn't though and then made me feel bad for it. She proceeded to tell me she needed to break up with me as my hair stylist. So wierd. I would not recommend her to anyone at this point

My close friend (who doesn't want to post with her name) went to see Maranda last night to get her hair colored, she had a picture reference to go by. She sadly was just not happy with how it turned out, she messaged the stylist on her way home crying and asked for it to be fixed.. she was told to go back and have it fixed. She went the same night and unfortunately Maranda wasn't very nice, she just put an all over brown color over the previous style and she didn't even brush her hair afterwards! My friend LEFT IN TEARS WITH RATTED WET HAIR after Maranda gave her money back and told her "I would really like it if you didn't come back". WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS IS THAT!? You go to a salon to get your hair done and to leave satisfied! Going to the salon is supposed to make you feel great about yourself! NOT THE OPPOSITE! When the stylist provides a service and you're not satisfied you don't let your pride get in the way, you take it with a grain of salt and you HELP them get the look that they are happy with! YOU WANT YOUR CLIENT TO LEAVE LOVING THE WAY THEY LOOK! PERIOD! I will be sure to let my friends and family know that the service here is below expectation. How this place has a 4.6 review is beyond me, they must not be seeing Maranda.

I came in with my mom for a haircut, and man, whoever styled my hair (Alice?) She did a fantastic job. Super gentle. My hair came out the way I wanted it to and I'm so happy I decided to go local. My mom wasn't that happy about her cut though. It was too long in the back and she wanted a cut that went short to long, back to front. I really reccomend this place either way. Reasonable prices, and it looks like they do other services as well. Very nice atmosphere, old fashioned but cozy.

I have finally found my hair salon!! I relocated to the Brainerd area 4 years ago….and have been looking for a hair stylist ever since. After visiting several local salons, I just wasn’t able to find a good fit, and was becoming discouraged figuring I would have to return to the cities for future hair services. I thought I would try one more time and so glad I did! I found this salon and Theresa online; made an appointment for hair cut/trim, and highlight. Theresa is awesome!!! She listened so well, offering some suggestions, etc. Very professional and knows what she is doing! She did an excellent job in both haircut (took off just the right amount) and hair color (Subtle yet full highlights throughout). I cannot recommend Theresa highly enough!!Service: Haircut

I saw Miranda for a simple trim, I had asked her to just trim my face framing bangs and she cut them completely not only are they short they are also uneven by 2 inches. Let’s just saw I started bawling as I walked out of the doorService: Haircut
