If your dog is difficult in any way, count on them giving up and calling you and picking up your dog and not grooming your dog. Next time I'll go somewhere where the groomers aren't afraid to work.

New ownership is making some great decisions. There is positive growth in the team and the business as a whole is already getting great feedback overall.
On a personal level, the morning team lead Alexa and evening team lead Nate are both very competent, caring and hard working individuals.
During my time working at Pampered Pets, they both cared for the animals professionally and were great communicators.
The front of house team is fairly new, but great with people! Kari, Kate and Sandra all make things run smooth. They are using the best systems of communication in the industry and are consistently finding new ways to improve the customer experience.
The entire team has had some turnover in the last nine months. All for the better. As someone who was let go in that timeframe I can say that the business is moving forward well!
The entire team is great and growing to better themselves daily. The new ownership is equipping the team for success. I look forward to having a business to board my dog that I can trust.
I enjoyed working with the team and the animals.
If you are looking for a place in the Lakes Area to board your dogs, check them out!

This kennel sure came through in a time of need my mother was unexpectedly hospitalized and very sick. My mother has had pets all her life ( dogs cats horses cows ect even a crow) she really loves and is protective of pets she didn’t hang up phone call and I heard her tell nurse she had to get dogs to my house ( two and a half hours away)before going into hospital ( cancer heart low breathing fracture in back ) immediately called Pampered Pets they picked up dogs from her house . My mother was very nervous about kenneling (understatement)They posted pictures gave complimentary baths kept them separate ( little elderly dogs) and provided the most nurturing care How do I know? Well I’ve cared for them and they simply are not happy with anyone but my mom and apparently Pampered Pets best stay ever!Thank you so much for providing superior care!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We used to love bringing our dog here but stopped recently because the customer service became so bad. The front office staff were rude, dismissive and unhelpful continuously. If I asked a question, or requested a service for my dog like boarding or daycare( you know the thing they are supposed to be selling) I was treated like I was wasting her time and told to go to the website and book the service myself. If you can't take 30 seconds to book my dog for daycare then you don't really want the almost 40 dollars a day for her to be there.

I love the frequent posted pics on social media, makes me wish I was playing with all the dogs instead of stuck at work.

I would give no stars if I could.I am LIVID! I took Bodie to Pampered Pets in Baxter for a daycare evaluation. They told me that they had bad news, my heart sank, I brought him there to help him with socialization. They told me he got bit about 5 minutes before I picked him up. That the dog that bit him has a history with biting puppies, but they had him in a group of older dogs and that all of those dogs knew to stay away from that particular dog. So Bodie was playing with the other 2 dogs well, but went over to see the one with the "history", obviously he didn't know the dog as he's never been there before. I am just sick, instead of making things better this probably just made it worse. This is why I don't do dog parks, you never know, but these people knew the dog had a history.. they told me he was in a small group, but posted these photos on their Facebook page. He's in both of these pictures. So you have a dog there for a daycare evaluation and put him in a small space with 11 dogs!!!This is going to turn into a "she said she said" I did not make up the things they said to me when I picked him up...

Wasn't happy with initial visit. Our pet came home smelling like the staff had rolled him in urine. Bath took care of that quickly, and the second day was better. They are conveniently located and have been highly recommended by others.

They continue to let dogs who are known and have a history of biting stay with other dogs. Another dog got attacked yet again from this same dog. I wonder if the real reason is because it is the owners dog? Either way, you need to do better, then let attacks go on and on at your facility.

Wonderful, but only because Bailey went above and beyond! They do a wonderful job grooming! However, getting an appointment and keeping that appointment is sometimes a challenge. After making an appointment a month in advance, they call us the day before and told us the time had changed. Then when we came in, we were told we were put on a waiting list. Totally not acceptable and they really need to clean their act up on this.Bailey apologized, re-worked the schedule to get our dog in right away and did an awesome job! She turned an irritating situation into a wonderful outcome and we can’t thank her enough!!!
