Had my order moved here August 10th (now the 24th) During the time it was hard to get a hold of the person who handles the doctor's orders, ect. Finally received a voicemail last week asking to give it until this week for the insurance to authorize, after no calls I decided to give them a call and was told that the contract they have doesn't take my insurance. She told me half of the time it goes through, but if she doesn't hear back by now it usually means it won't be approved.I mentioned how I wish I had known this over two weeks ago so I could go elsewhere and she just thanked me and said goodbye.I get insurance is rough, I have worked in healthcare for over 20 years, I get it, but this is a little more serious than a walking aid, or brace, if she knew that it more than likely wouldn't go through, she should have said that up-front so that consumers can make an informed choice about waiting around for weeks, instead of getting the healing process started.
