I spent a night at The Lodge. The room was spacious and pretty nice with a "cabin"-like feel.

Beautiful room, beautiful pool, excellent service, nice employees, well maintained, breakfast was great. Only problem was finding our way in due to construction at the main entrance. Body slide could use a little maintenance inside.

Decent and clean. The indoor swimming area are mostly for small children. They have hot pool and two water slides with tubes and no tube.

I do like it here a lot, but it needs a refresh bad. It is getting rusty and old. Pieces are falling apart.

We were very happy with this hotel, it had a nice waterpark that my kids (6, 8, 9) all enjoyed for a few days. We thought the rooms were nice and spacious and the staff friendly and helpful, with a very nice hot breakfast in the morning. I'm taking one star off for something that I hope they address in the future. We've been to several waterparks over the last decade, and I've never been to one that had such inattentive lifeguards, and that's assuming there even was any. There were times we saw no one at all on the main deck, or none up at the waterslide, or them sitting around on their phones, or throwing a ball around with their friends in the water. This didn't diminish the fun my kids had at the park, but they are old enough to swim. If you are there with younger kids, do not trust their safety to the life guards.
Safety: The waterpark was just about the least safe I've ever been too, due to the lack of lifeguards, or their absolute inattention on the floor.

Food & drinks: Went for dinner only. Terrible. Awful.
The beer-battered walleye was more like wallpaper and paste. The veggies were flavorless, as was the rice compote. The burger was formed and frozen and overcooked. The pasta was flavorless. We complained, but got no discount. not even a free drink. $175 worth of horribleness, including the service. The place was empty at 7:00 PM...now I know why.

Extremely overpriced, 100 hidden charges and fees. Our rooms were 159 per night for 2 nights and our bill was $800.00 so many extra fees we had 3 pages of charges. I'm pretty sure we got charged extra fees for walking in the hallways and breathing the air.
Rooms: Very dated, not very clean
Noteworthy details: I'm not sure how, but there is at least 30 taxes and fees for every day you are there. No exaggerating, a $159 room will cost you over $300 per night after fees. I travel all over the USA and I've never experienced anything like this. It's verging on criminal.

Don’t expect the lifeguards in the water park to do anything. They just sit on their phones the whole time.

This hotel is disgusting and cost over $500 in the middle of nowhere for 2 nights. We did not even stay one night due to the extreme fifth. I called and emailed multiple times with no response to get some sort of refund. The lobby is filthy with needles on display. There is no customer service and extreme lack of cleanliness and sanitation. Do not stay here. I felt like I was on an episode of hotel hell and had to book another hotel for the weekend.

Everything listed on Arrowwood's Website is a lie. Rooms are Old, Outdated, and Dirty. Arcarde was closed. Waterpark is small and old. Hours the waterpark was open made it impossible to use. Employees are rude. This place is not a "resort" as it is described online. It is a dumpy old hotel. They are charging similar prices to the actual resorts in the Brainerd Lakes Area but Holiday Inn is honestly a nicer, cleaner hotel.

Rooms: The room was amazing. The layout was something I've never seen before. Just beautiful.
Nearby activities: Kid friendly pool area.
Food & drinks: Only bad thing was the vending machines didn't work on either floor and didn't have much to choose from there snack and gift shop.
