Very disappointed I didn't get any sleep due to bed. I tried to have coffee in morning but powdered cream in room was rancid. We also got up for breakfast at 7am and nothing was out to eat and no one around to ask. Called number on desk she said oh no one is there and said she would call someone. But we were trying to get out to go fishing had to leave. Lots of people were waiting. Very sad probably won't stay here again if I have anything to say about. I realize you were under construction and I get that but I had to be very care and walk around things to get to office and back to my room.??Rooms: Beds hard and toilet to close to floor not good for some one with some disability trying to get upSafety: Halls were very dangerous tripping Hazzard

UPDATE: Upon leaving the manager was very apologetic and said it had been a miscommunication and they had spoken to them about it. Don't let my review be taken the wrong way, the people that run the place are wonderfully nice and thoughtful, and they ARE doing renovations.Literally performing construction over my head at 9:30pm. When asked why, "Manager told us to work til 10."I didn't complain about the unfinished walls, broken shower head, and so forth, but literal sawing, hammering and drilling at 9:30pm on a Thursday night is simply absurd.

I didn't complain about unfinished walls, broken showers and little comfort...However, 9:30pm and they are literally preforming construction 8ft over my head, I'm told "Manager said work until 10pm.

Was up on the river for the weekend the rooms had new drywall up with holes in it and not even tapped there was 14 people in are party and we couldn’t even have a crockpots in are rooms and you better be off the water by 6 so you can get you something to eat in town then for breakfast the lady was just down right a b and wouldn’t restock breakfast or put milk out for the kids in are group save your time and go to the American inn down the roadRooms: Hard beds

We stayed one night at the Walleye Inn. The building is definitely older, but very clean.The free breakfast was the standard cereals, fruits, and baked goods. The common eating area is modern and well kept.The staff is friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

Really nice hotel! Comfortable Beds, friendly staff, clean rooms, okay breakfast.It won't knock your socks off, but I'll definitely be staying again.

136 a night. 2 semi's ran outside our room for the 2 days we stayed there. Had to use ear plugs for the trucks idling up and down to sleep. The place is a time capsule out of the late 80's. Go elsewhere is advised.

Looks like they May have done some recent renovation but have far to go. Two dim lamps for lights in room, no hair dryer, worn and old furnishings and musty smell. The bed was fairly comfortable. The breakfast was adequate. The price much lower than others in town. Also had a room available. Would stay there again if same circumstances occur.

My boyfriend and his family have been coming up to Baudette fishing on LOW for many years. They stayed here the first night, last weekend with a 40 degree room all night. Nor my boyfriend or his elderly grandfather slept at all. The windows were old and leaked heat out, the room was drafty because of this and the room was very outdated. His grandfather politely asked for a different room, to which the receptionist, who was the manager, said she would talk to her boss. When they came back from fishing later that night, she said because they didn't say anything about the room the first night there were no other rooms available and there was nothing she could do about it now. She offered extra blankets and a space heater. She called her boss on the spot and the phone went to voicemail, wow. She didn't offer to comp the night or anything. They will not be staying here ever again. It's hard to support local when there's extremely poor management like this.

I would not recommend this place for several reasons. We had people coming in all hours of the night slamming doors, talking really loud. Clearly very intoxicated. Very loud rooms. Went out to my vehicle the next morning to find beer cans on top of my vehicle. To top it all off the hotel was out of coffee! The only reason I gave two stars was the front desk person was polite when we arrived.

For the price.. not worth it. Walked in to check in and the receptionist was on the phone for about 10 mins while we and another guest stood there... (she was nice) walked in to the room and turned around and walked right out. Room was like walking into a jail cell... block walls, outdated everything. Bed was rock hard, like you were sitting on a boxspring with a blanket on it water pressure was almost non existent... Drove down a half mile to americinn and got a king suite for $50 more.

Renting a heated fish house. Houses clean and toasty warm. We even caught some fish. Plus, they cleaned them for us.
