Ralph was our guide and he is amazing. He put us on fish and was so nice. We caught tons of fish and had an amazing time.

Rooms were cleaned amazingly, food service was polite and attentive, the food was great and the front desk workers were very helpful.on the first night of my stay a woman who told me she was the housekeeping manager seemed very intoxicated at the bar and kept trying to invite herself back to my room, completely ignoring when I told her I was married. I get that its their personal time off shift, but come on.

Two day guided fishing trip with Mark H as our guide. Mark is a very knowledgeable guide and had us on fish both days using downriggers and plugs pulling walleye and sauger up all day. Thanks Mark, and the Sportsman's Lodge for the hospitality.

Stayed here for work. Awesome place, great food! Has everything you could need besides a microwave in the room. 10/10 will stay again

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sportsman’s Lodge on Lake of the Woods as part of a veterans fishing outing called Pay It Forward. I fished with Captain Joe Anderson, and it was an experience I’ll never forget.
Captain Joe was professional, courteous, and incredibly knowledgeable about the best spots to catch fish. He made sure I felt comfortable and ensured we had a successful day on the water. Thanks to his expertise, I caught plenty of fish and had an amazing time.
The accommodations at Sportsman’s Lodge were also top-notch—clean, updated, and perfect for relaxing after a day of fishing. I highly recommend this lodge and Captain Joe Anderson for anyone looking for an outstanding Walleye fishing adventure.

Had another great fishing trip with Sportsmans. Captain Brent was the best! He is so knowledgeable about the area. He put us on fish each day and limited out. Plenty for a fish fry as well. Carson was a great dock hand! Great trip overall.

Our fishing guide Brent Fredrickson was great. He is very friendly. Also Carson that helps dock and clean the boat for the next day is very friendly and respectful. Thanks for a great 3 days.

Nearby activities: Guiding service from Ralph, Hunter and Derek was beyond memorable! They gave us an excellent experience and we will definitely return!
Walkability: You are able to from the villas to the food and entertainment.
Food and drinks: Great food, great drinks, and great staff. Brady has always been an excellent bartender and waiter.

We went out on a full day guide with Adam, pulled in many slot fish that was in their prime! And pretty much got our limit with excellent size walleye to bring home. When we come back we will request Adam for any guidance in the future. Sportsman's has a awesome captain!
