Excellent charter experience with Captn Brandt! Knowledgeable,friendly, put us on fish in less than ideal conditions. Limit of walleyes/sauger, a dozen 13"+ perch, even a 14" white crappie!

Wow what a great couple days of fishing. The wind kept us on the river for the first day and Lanny made the best of it no doubt. Multi-species and nice keeper and eater fish. The second day on the big lake was EXCELLENT, thank you Brant you were a first class captain. I would recommend others to come check it out.

Another awesome experience at Border View on The Lake of the Woods. Captain Brant was a great guide and put us on nonstop fish so we all caught our limit! If you have a chance to get Captain Brant as a guide don’t hesitate!

Stayed @ BVL Sept 10-12 a group of 6 couples. The accommodations were wonderful we stayed in the Point 1 7 bedrooms and eight bathrooms along with an awesome kitchen. The fishing was great and Captains Mark and Josh were awesome! Thanks again BVL!

Absolutely love coming up to Borderview, especially for our fall girls trips! The cabins are always clean and the charters are the absolute best. Captain Brant is awesome, he’s always informative and helpful and five steps ahead of everything going on. BVL is lucky to have him. I can’t wait for future trips!

First charter in this area and with the lodge. And the guide Brant made the trip 10 times more enjoyable for the two days we stayed and a big thank you for reputing a worm on my hook about a thousand time. 12/10 stars

I have come up ice fishing before and now did a walleye charter this fall, the lodge staff are great and Brant was an amazing guide. I would recommend going out with him, he is very helpful and laid back- 11/10 stars ?

Has a great time fishing with guide Josh. Lodge and staff could not be nicer. This was our ninth year coming to border view lodge and plan many more.

Fished with Ben first day, it was awesome. Shore lunch up on Oak Island, plenty to eat, and after lunch fishing was a bit slower but it was not fir lack of trying.

There were 11 from the McCarthy clan (from 7 states!) fished two days at Border View. Great time! Already looking forward to coming back next September! Captain Josh put us on the fish!

We brought a group of 18 fisherman to Borderview Lodge as we have for the past 20 years or so. The location is excellent and fishing is fantastic. We all had a great shore lunch on day one, and caught our limits to take home on day two. Our 3 guides did an exceptional job - Ben, Fred, and Mark put us right on the fish both days, and one of our group caught the largest walleye we have caught (28 1/8" inch) in all the years coming to the lodge. A great time was had by everyone.
The accommodations were very comfortable in the Grand Lodge and a one bedroom cabin. The food at the main lodge was very high quality, and our server Roxy handled all our food and drink orders with ease and a friendliness that was never strained by serving such a large group at once. Highly recommend their food, accommodations, and especially the staff above.
We had a great time and already booked the trip for next year. Thanks Borderview for a great fishing trip - see you soon.
