Our company hosted a company fishing trip in January. We’ve been to many resorts in the area, none of which we will return to. Ballard’s far exceeds its competitors. The lodging is phenomenal. Cabins are clean, comfortable and updated. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Amenities are great. We will definitely be returning in the future.Rooms: Clean, comfortable and updated.Nearby activities: Fishing and guides were great!Food & drinks: Great food and atmosphere.

we come up almost every year in my personal opinion this is the best resort around there I have been too a few other and I did not think the fishing was as good or the guides. great staff and great cabins and food and Ballard's

I don't know what can be said that hasn't. The lodge and the cabins are great. Beds are good, not great, but no complaints. Rooms were spotless and in great shape. The food is great..... every meal was delicious.. Get the wings you will thank me.The fishing was a bit slow when we were there, but that was due to the weather. Guides are top-notch.I will be coming back.

Restaurant has great food! Nicely seasoned and large portions. Service and view of the river was great.Only downside is trying to find the restaurant. It withina maze of roads and resort houses.Food & drinks: See above.

We did the 4 nights 3 days ice fishing package and it was great. Fishing was slow the first day, however our guides Tommy and Chris worked hard to get us on fish. Day's 2 & 3 we're much better. Overall, great experience, friendly staff, great food and very nice cabins. We rebooked for the following year before we left.Can't wait to get back!Tight lines!

Awesome 4 Day trip. From the moment we check in and until we left we had a great time. There employees we amazing. Our guid had us on fish every time we were in the water. One of the best fishing trips I've been on.

Notified pre-arrival of what to expect. Cabin was basic but clean and comfortable. Restaurant food was excellent with ample portions. Fishing guide was personable and knowledgeable, and did everything he could to put us in the right spots to catch fish. Guide prepared shore lunch was awesome!

Didn't stay here but had some dinner and drinks here. I HAD to get peirogies with my bloody Mary. My husband got the walleye tacos. Both were delicious but I wish I got tacos as well since those were awesome!

The best place to go for an awesome experience. I would also like to give a shout out to Zach B the best guide not only did he take us to the best fishing spots but gave everyone a little history of the people and places. I was at Ballards from June 16 - June 18. It was one of the best experiences of my life. Kessie was one of the most attentive and personable bartenders I’ve ever had. I went to her for all 3 days while I was there and no one else. She was an outstanding employee. The rooms, service and entertainment was so perfect. Highly recommended!

As a local, we love Ballard’s for a dinner + drinks out with family or friends. You can always count on friendly, quality service from their staff and tasty food. Our personal favorites are the perogies, black and blue bites, wings and the classic walleye sandwich. I stayed in their cabins once for a bachelorette party and they were very clean, comfy + cozy. We always recommend Ballard’s to anyone coming to town whether it just be for dinner, to stay or to fish. You won’t be disappointed with your experience!

We have our own cabin at L.O.W. For supper, we went to this resort for the first time. Genevieve was super sweet and attentive despite being busy. Our group had chicken bacon ranch pizza, a pilly sub, cheese burger, and deluxe burger. Everything was very good. Well done, Genevieve and kitchen staff! Thank you, we'll be back.
