No one appreciates being awaken at 2:00 AM by the chirping of a smoke alarm. It has happened too many times for me and my confused dogs. Mr. Electric promptly fixed the problem by installing new hard wired alarms, along with ten year batteries. I am very impressed by the professional, James, who completed this job quickly and took time to explain what he was doing and why. Mr. Electric is my recommendation for all electrical needs.

I recently hired Mr. Electric for some extensive electrical work in my home and I can confidently say that their service was nothing short of extraordinary.From the initial consultation our Electrician, Zach, was professional, courteous, and displayed an in-depth knowledge about his craft that gave me confidence in his abilities. He took the time to understand what I was looking to achieve with my project and provided valuable advice on the best way to proceed.What particularly impressed me about Zach was his punctuality and respect for my home. He arrived promptly at the time agreed upon and worked efficiently throughout the day. He also took great care in keeping the work area clean and minimizing disruption to our daily routine. After having a "handyman" mess up my light switches and burn out my ceiling fan, I called Mr Electric. I got a timely appointment, and they texted me when my electrician was on his way, and his ETA. They even texted again to let me know he would be 15 minutes late! That's impressive! I must have hit the jackpot when electrician James Sanchez walked in my door! He was polite, extremely knowledgeable, and checked out everything. He fixed all the damage done, and installed a new ceiling fan. He also checked out my breaker boxes and explained what work and updates I would need. He wasn't "pushy" at all, and left me with a list of future updates I might consider, as well as the prices. If I could give him 10 stars, I would!!!

Their service was great. Zach and Doug worked on my AC unit (on my roof). Very professional, answered all my questions. My AC was incorrectly wired using only one circuit and they made it run on two circuits, installing new services breakers, housing, wiring. They always take the time to explain what they are doing. I also needed a new outlet installed for my oven. They did that also. I would totally recommend them.

We needed a stairwell light replaced. Mr Electric charged us $787 for the labor only. We already had the replacement light. We were in a time crunch and had no time to get estimates. Next time get estimates! The manager said a ladder they used saved us money. Tenant says they left hand prints on the wall and ceiling. Sloppy work. Very disappointed. This is a predatory company.

This is the second time I have used this company and again they have gone above and beyond to get me what I need! Fantastic service! Very nice people and their products are top notch! I will use Mr Electric for any of my future needs at my house!

I was able to make an appointment easily and the dispatch fee was very affordable compared to the other services I called around. I had Jon S. come out to help me and he was very mindful. They did a free safety evaluation and gave me a run down of what else I might need. Of course, this was just an option but it was nice to know that my system was good for the most part. He identified the problem really quickly and even installed something up to code for the problem. I didn't feel like they were trying to upsell me. In fact, they helped me with a minor problem with my garbage disposal for free. Great experience

These guys are apparently all about the sale, not the service. I also work in the trades, and think that most do not get paid enough, so I wanted to give them a fair chance when the price seemed a bit high. Lesson learned. They have a spiel they use for every call, and the intent is to upsell you. If the call is not worth the money, then don't take the job. The owner/operator is apparently a real estate agent or former agent, if that helps clarify the shady practices.

Mr Electric came to our house to fix an outlet to our hot water heater and some other loose outlets. the technician spent two hours at our house and did not repair anything. Instead he spent a long time focusing on our breaker box. After spending at least a half hour with the master electrician, he provided us a bid of 15 K to replace the breaker box and fix other issues. If we signed a plan, it would be 13 K. I contacted another electrician who fixed the entire problem for 800 dollars. Don't go there! I'm not sure the technician who visited our house was even an electrician.

First thing the guy did when he came out is try to upsell me a surge protector for the outside of my house for $400. When I declined this offer he seemed visibly upset. Finally, he did what I called him out to do which is install a replacement bathroom exhaust fan I bought. He did this, but there was a loud rattling sound. When I asked why it was rattling he said that there were other parts that needed installation and that I should have gone through them for those parts. He didn't mention this to me before installing it. He left it rattling and charged me 250 which I paid. A few weeks later, the rattling fan just stopped working altogether. Now I have to get the job completely redone.

We had breakers tripping and needed an electrician. We called, they were here in a matter of a few hours. James Sanchez was our electrician. I thought the price was extremely high but did a great job with everything working perfectly.

We had great experiences with a very smart woman electrician from Mr. Electric in the past to replace garage light fixtures and repair some interior kitchen light shorts, so they were top of our list to call for the new issues. However, when I called the person fielding the call told me they do not do repairs of exterior lights and would only replace the entire fixtures, even for the one that simply has a stuck base of a lightbulb in it because a bulb broke when we were changing it. Why would they not repair external light fixtures and only do entire replacements of them? It seems very odd. They could not refer me to another electrician who does repair external fixtures, so here I am taking a look at Angi reviews.
